Harsh startup then smooth drags

Greetings I am pretty new to vaping going from analogs to my Smok Telescope with a mini Vivi Nova tank. Well onto my problem. I get about 10 drags of harsh throat killing vapor. then after it is smooth and i love it. This hasnt happened to me when i first got my telescope about a month ago. I used to vape Watermelon Ice 12mg from myvaporstore.com which is a 50/50 pg/vg flawlessly without any coughing. I now got a huge order from Good Life Vapor which are all also 12mg. Since i started using their juice with a new head on my Nova, when i pull out my telescope after about 2-3 hours of no vaping the first couple drags are super harsh causing me to cough up a lung. then after that i can chain vape with no problems. May anyone know why this is? Oh yeah and also all of my heads came in 2.0 ohm so i dont think that would be a factor because i also multimeter them to make sure.
