Alright, how the heck do you harvest the 510 connector from the battery. I have no problems removing the battery and such... but the heck do you get the connector out of their without destroying it? (already destroyed one.)

Are you doing this to harvest the connector or the battery case?

They are pressed into the tube AND they put a spot of epoxy in the tube to hold it. Because you never know where the spot of epoxy is, it is best to just cut the tube. I screw an old atty onto it and grind (vertically) from just under the flange to somewhere below the bottom end of the connector. the tube is very thin so don't grind to deep, just enough to see brass. then wiggle it out of the tube. There is a thread somewhere here showing pics of the insides of a 510.
