http://www.e-cigcity.co.uk/epages/es120919.sf is run by a gentleman named 'Garry Dibley' and, whilst I haven't bought anything from him, I can confirm that he is a very decent bloke who builds his own mods in his spare time.

I would have no qualms about purchasing from him, if I was in the market for anything that he sells and I have read some good reviews of his products saying that they were of good, solid, quality. I also beleive he gives a pretty good warranty, but check the site to confirm that.

So, can't personally vouch for the products, but can certainly vouch for the honesty and decency of the person making them.

Hope this helps a little.

Sorry, didn't get to the mod department, I was just looking at the standard starter kits. Does seem pretty reasonable at that.
Yes, he just re-sells some other standard TW stuff as an affiliate-type thing, but his own stuff (the passthroughs, mods, DIY kits, & adaptors - ie, the top half of the menu) he builds himself and sells at incredibly reasonable prices.

Updating this in case the OP is still trying to decide:

I received my order and everything is in good shape.

I cannot compare it to other battery mods that it looks similar to, because the only one I have is a VP1 and they look different.

It appears to be a small flashlight casing with a tall red button (as opposed to a flat red button) and the atomizer adapter is seated in what appears to be cement. It is about the same length as an 801 battery.

I popped a half-drained battery into the compartment, screwed on a new 901 atomizer and the thing already vapes like a champ.

With a freshly-charged battery and the atomizer broken in, I am sure that it will be even better than it is right now, and it is darned-near perfect as it is.

You cannot beat this, as far as I can tell. If you are looking at it and trying to decide if it is really what it claims to be and not something "too good to be true," do not worry about that.

I ordered late on Friday, and he mailed it out first thing Monday morning, via Royal Mail. Postage was ~3.00USD. It got here today, so five days transit to Tennessee.

You do need the batteries and atomizers, so if you don't have them already, order them at the same time.

I haven't tried the pass-through, yet.

Best 67 dollars I have spent.:thumb:

I got a 501 box mod from Garry, performance is the same as my 501 Titan passthrough (very good).
I like how simple it is. It looks unusual but also quite cool if you leave the cover off and blue battery exposed. I use Ultrafire 10440 AAA 600mAh 3.6V (unprotected) batteries with it. As far as I know these are the only AAA 3.6V batteries available, unless you get the protected version from vaprlife . com, though you would need to check they will fit as they may be slightly longer. I like the idea of just taking this, a bottle of juice and several batteries out into the wilds. I suppose you could do that with any e-cig but this just seems more fitting.

I've been looking for a battery cross refrence. Does anyone know where one is in cyber space?

Sorry MikeLC, I don't understand what you are asking so I can't help.

However, I would just like to add to the thread that I bought one of Garry's (e-cigcity) USB passthroughs last week & it is brilliant!

USB Passthrough -

It's a passthrough without a battery, so plugged into a USB2 port you should get a 5v vape, no replacement batteries to buy & all for only £14.99 (including P&P if you are in the UK). :)

I would have edited my previous post but I can't find an edit button?
I just checked the vaprlife site and they give the battery size:
UNPROTECTED 10440: 10mm*44mm
PROTECTED SIZE: 10.62*46mm

I doubt the protected battery would fit the box without modifying it as the unprotected battery already fits tight. I have the correct Ultrafire charger so it should be fine with these batteries.

I am using the passthrough right now, Chrissie, and it *is* brilliant! I have it plugged into a Kensington portable charger and it is working great.

To the OP, thank you for posting this. I never would have found it on ,y own, and I am very happy with what I got.
