Hi
wood!
When I began vaping, I had automatic
Joye 510's. As a newbie, the aesthetic appeal was very important to me. They looked & felt just like a cigarette - & with the automatic action, the usage felt more like smoking too. Never had any problem with them, and no juice ever got into the batts. But then, I only used standard Boge cartomizers with them...and I was careful. With attys or dripping, it probably would've been a different story.
When they started reaching the end of their lifespan, my next step up was an automatic
Joye Mega eGo. Again, used it only with standard Boge cartomizers. But for some weird reason, I
did have some issues with it. Possibly because it usually rested standing up, unlike the 510's. I had to be a lot more careful, and while I'll never know for sure...I'm pretty sure that some juice leaked in & killed my first one.
Now that we have the fully-sealed, manual
ProVari, it's very nice to not have to worry about these issues. Plus if it's windy outside, no need to worry about it activating constantly, lol.
I think you'll be fine with an auto 510, or the Bloogs
(which are autos)...but looking back, I can't in good conscience recommend an auto eGo / Mega eGo.
Hope that helps!
