Has anybody ever placed an order with FluidVapes before?

A bit of an old thread, but this is the only place I could find a review for fluidvapes so I'll post my experience...

Ordered a Black Stingray clone (infinite) and a VTC5 battery. Looked up how to spot a fake VTC5 and from what I can tell (It's charging currently) it's authentic. I'll find out the hard way soon enough, since I have an atty built at .21Ω I've been wanting to try but wasn't going to put my efests through :p The stingray came with a small scratch on the 18350 tube, and the threading has some of the black paint worn away. Not a big deal since I don't plan on using the 18350 tube and the threading isn't visible once you assemble it, just comes across to me as minor signs of use. Overall, I ordered on a Saturday & paid for 2 day shipping, received it on Friday. Would give it a 4/5 overall, processing time was a 'lil long (Didn't ship out til Tuesday night) and the blemishes somewhat concern me, but it is a clone so I'll let those slide :p

Also just noticed when I went to leave a review for the stingray that the other 2 reviews for this product are about a battery and not the mod itself. Kinda odd, but oh well.

The shipping was fast on the ipv v2, but I started having issues with the display and was informed that they only have a fourteen day replacement policy and that I would have to contact the mfg for their one year warranty. Mfg is saying that they will send fluidvapes a new one if I go through them, but I have been unable to get a response via email from fluidvapes for about a week and a half.

Related note, had a similar issue with elev8vape on a dna30 where they told me just to deal with the mfg.

I would say that in general these vendors are not terribly interested in helping their customers if problems with the products arise.

Of course, one of the few times i don't research a vendor before making a purchase (which probably would've stopped me from buying from them had i seen their very mixed reviews) it turns out to be a dud! I placed an order for a KFL+ v2 and a Nautilus mini about 71 hours ago and it still hasn't shipped. Paid the extra for priority shipping to ensure i had it for this weekend but that definitely won't happen now.

Good thing they're competitive with their prices as it is definitely the only thing keeping their orders coming in. It's certainly not their customer service or fast processing/shipping times.

I would've gladly spent $4 more (about how much i saved) to have the items sitting in my hands right now. Just for comparison, i placed an order at Fat Daddy Vapes as well as Wizardlabs within a few hours of my fluidvapes order and both of those are here with me as of today. Sometimes it's not worth saving a few dollars. I would avoid this vendor unless you can afford to wait an uncommonly long amount of time and don't care about customer service.

Edit: Well, i had no good reasons to check the mail today but my girlfriend decided to check it earlier when she came home and walked in the door with my package from fluidvapes. My info still hasn't changed on their website nor did i ever receive a shipping notification email. If they end up responding to the email i sent earlier i'll let them know of the issue with their ordering system.

Edit #2: Just for complete transparency and for everyone's info... According to the tracking number i assume it was boxed the same day i ordered or very early the next day. First entry: "October 1, 2014 , 9:18 pm
Accepted at USPS Origin Sort Facility"

Edit #3: at 3:47 am this morning (10/4) they emailed me my tracking number, that's it. Just a quick "Your tracking info is...." nothing about their ordering/email system not working. My account info still shows "processing".

I got a Kayfun Lite Plus v2 dual airflow - Dud... Contacting them via email to return/exchange, not much information regarding returns or a contact phone number - Shame me once, not twice!!! Never again.

Still waiting for them to contact me via email, perhaps they are waiting for my 14 days to run over  I would never recommend FluidVapes to anyone.

I bought a magma dripper clone from them and it was defective. After many non-professional emails from their customer service rep who wouldn't give me their name, they replaced it. Eight weeks later it's rusting on both the interior and exterior. I left a review on their website and rated it a 3, because it's not bad for the price, but I thought people should be aware of a possible flaw. They won't post my review. I won't be ordering from them again.
