State representatives are the bigger threat as of now .........
Someone posted a video the other day that was eye opening about how CA. owes money for what they borrowed against the cig. tax that has fallen off in that state pretty badly. The whole thing seems to be gaining momentum. Do we start stockpiling now?

And that's going to extinguish the industry ?

Depends how you define the word "Extinguish".

e-Cigarettes are going to be around in the Future. There is No Question about that.

But the e-Liquid?

Well... In what Form, and at what Nicotine Level, and How you are Able to Buy it, and How Much it is going to Cost? That could/will Definitely Change.

This forum alone has 227,000+ members, granted not all in the US, but surely we have the numbers to fight this in the courts? The deeming regs threaten a muli-billion dollar industry, as well as the very lives of those of us still at risk of returning to tobacco if it the industry fails. Do we count any lawers in our numbers? Can the FDA be the subject of a class action suit?

Thanks for posting The Hill article, and for moving it to this thread. I posted a lengthy comment delineating how the FDA's proposed deeming regulation would ban >99.9% of all e-cigs now on the market.

Below are several more recent articles (and an interview) that similarly expose how FDA's proposal would ban all (or virtually al) e-cigs now on the market.

SmokenJoey’s interview with Bill Godshall delineates why/how FDA’s proposed deeming regulation would ban >99.9% of all nicotine vapor products, and how vapers and vapor companies can help stop FDA’s proposed e-cig ban

It would be helpful if people kept their comments ON TOPIC.

I think e-nic will be treated and regulated exactly like cigarettes and smoking. The model has already been laid out- ban indoor use, push for high taxes, include in Clean Air Acts, no longer allow businesses to choose whether they allow its usage on their property, restrict flavors and advertising...
Thanks to those who have tried to eradicate cigarettes and smoking, the opponents of vaping already have the model and legislation to succeed. E cigarettes have already successfully been rolled into smoking legislation and will continue to be until there is no difference between cigarettes and smoking and e-nic and vaping...

That will only occur If stevegmu keeps hijacking ECF threads that inform and try to mobilize vapers to oppose the FDA regulation and anti vaping bills, and if lots of vapers actually believe the "we've already lost" crap that stevegmu posts.

I just tell it like it is.The thread is about the future of vaping...
Have you ever been to a country where smoking is normal and hasn't been demonized? You'd be surprised at how accepted vaping is. There's no going back. Groups and individuals who have been so set against smoking and smokers have killed the future of vaping in the US...
Having majored in history I learned long ago one can predict the future by looking at the past...
