Has anyone developed an oil free clove/kretek flavor yet?

I like cloves, but smoking oils is unsafe. Last time I checked (long ago) this issue was not yet solved. I'm wondering if anyone has done it yet.

My TFA clove flavor is Eugenol. Its not an oil. Its the main flavor ingredient in clove oil but there are dozens of others so just eugenol isn't really complete.
Its also the stuff the dentist is putting down into your root canal.

Good to know. I guess the big question is if there are any good clove cigarette recipies using it?
