Has anyone else had this awful experience with their juice vendor?

After seeing AWESOME reviews on both product and customer service, I decided to place an order for juices from a vendor other than Velvet Vapors, just to see if I could get some new flavors. Some of them didn't give me the option of getting a VG base, so in the comments, I asked if they could be made that way and if not, to contact me before filling the order (I am allergic to PG...I ran into this issue with VaporBomb, but they were able to custom-make my order, so it wasn't an issue in the end). They did, saying that they could not make a few of the juices with VG, so I went ahead and cancelled the whole order because only 2 or 3 of the juices I ordered were VG-based, and the shipping cost was almost equal to the cost of the products themselves, so it just wasn't worth it to me. They told me that the order was cancelled, and life went on.

A few days later, the charge on my card still wasn't reversed. So I contacted them via email, asking why this was. They said it could sometimes take 7-10 days for the charge to reverse, so I waited. And waited. And waited.

After nearly two weeks, I emailed them AGAIN, asking what was going on. They said that they'd contact corporate and get back to me.

Here we are two days after THAT, still no response.

I'm filing a dispute with my bank, but I am so frustrated because I heard great things about their customer service. I shouldn't have to wait this long for a freakin' $21 refund. WTH? :( I now know better than to go anywhere but VV. I never have any problems with them. It just sucks because I would like some variety...I guess I should just deal, though. I suppose that's what comes with my stupid PG allergy. Blah.

I've certainly had poor experiences with particular vendors... when they don't handle it correctly, they lose my business...

Velvet Vapors are known for providing excellent customer service...

A few vendors I have worked with that bend over backwards to make the customer happy include: prime vaping, plume room, RAWR, bwb, vaperite and want2vape... vaporbomb too... I have also had very good experiences with puresmoker

I only order from these folks occasionally... only one or two are go to vendors for me.... but that has more to do with taste preference...

I wish a couple of my current go to vendors were more customer friendly... they are not jerks by any means... but they just don't answer emails quickly or ever give testers etc... switching to menthol really limits my options with vendors...

Thanks for your responses, guys. I didn't post their name because I know a lot of people LOVE this particular company, and I didn't want to ruffle any feathers. But I am just so frustrated. They finally called me today, and offered me a damn coupon code (um, no), then said they couldn't refund me because the owner has to do that and he's out until the 5th.

Wait, what? You said that the refund was already issued. So, it was never issued to begin with?

She then offered to send me a check...but she's not authorized to refund me. WTHHHH???

I'm trying to decide whether to let them send me the check, or to just file a dispute. Definitely won't be ordering from them EVER.

Being sensitive to PG has definitely caused me some grief when ordering e-juice. I have basically resorted to ordering from places that already have VG only juices (like i'm sure many of us have). I recently found velvet cloud vapor/, after looking around on forums and stuff I checked them out after reading some pretty raving reviews. i must say that i was quite impressed with everything and their juice is really good! Just a thought if you're looking for some new places :)

Please don't write off all vendors other than VV because of one bad experience. Yes, your experience kinda bites but they don't all work that way. The majority of the vendors I have dealt with have no "corporate HQ"...it's just them...and they will bend like a reed in the wind (Dune reference) to make you a happy customer. Please try some other vendors...maybe just a small order to test the water. There are a lot of folks out the who make it their life's work to cater to vapers and are genuinely devoted to the task.

Vape on, Diz

Bizzare biz practices. All this is usually automated. Maybe they have some kinda wierd clunky cc processor. All sounds very Dark Ages to me, in a time where money moves around in the blink of an eyelash.

I get Twists and T3 from Stormy's Vapor Cellar. Not the cheapest, but if Stormy says it's a Joyetech than it's a Joyetech. I placed an order Black Friday, realized I'd forgotten an extra eGo USB charger (for work) and emailed a request to have that item added. Within an hour it was done. The next day I noticed two charges- the origional $75 TWICE ! I emailed again, within the hour Stormed replied with an apology and corrected the charges to my card. That's an order, an "Oops can you add...?" (my mistake), an incorrest charge (her mistake) and all the nedded corrections- on Black Friday- handled promptly and properly by SVC. In a growing competitive market like the e-cigarette market I would expect nothing less. Now. as far as Juices go; I like sweet vapes and I tend to return to Heather's Heavenly Vapes. They allow PG/VG ratio selection (as an allergy suferer I need 30% PG or less), and if I add "Make 'em extra sweet!" in the comments section then the invoice shows my comment, the "extra sweet' is marked with a Highlighter and a hand written "OK !" or "Heather hooked you up!", along with a big handwritten "Thank You" acroos the invoice. Add to that HHV sweet vapes Rule ! I'm saddened by your experience with a less-than-stellar Vendor, hopefully you will find Quality Vendors with Quality Products soon !

@MamaFox I'm glad I could help! Don't dispair, not all vendors are bad! There are tons of great ones out there, it's just a matter of finding what you like :)
another one you might want to try is Alice in Vapeland, they have some really tasty juices as well, but they can only do 90%VG. Personally I haven't had any problem with this :) and they have really cute glass bottle options too

I hate you had that bad experience!! I haven't had any problems and I am sure I wouldn't have been as nice as you have been about it if I experienced what you did lol There are a few I have seen with 100% vg. Mtbakervapor.com (fantastic prices) - Vapedudes has a naturals line with 100% vg. - Alien Vision (avejuice.com) - Sweet Vapes (sweet-vapes.com) - Heathersheavenlyvapes.com. I know there are several more. These are just the ones I have looked at recently. I hope I haven't named one of the ones you had the issue with lol

Hang in there, I hope you find a great supplier to suit your needs!!

To the OP:

Life is too short to let this incident drag you down...file the dispute and it really doesn't even warrant a posting for me as I don't like to dwell on negative events nor do I wish to cultivate negative experiences in a forum such as this.

I wish you all the best and would suggest using ECF to gather information about suppliers before diving in....even then though, stuff happens and if 21 dollars is the cost...well...it could be worse....heck...that's the cost of 3 packs of Analogs so...yeah....wish you better times ahead.

Having an allergy to PG makes things a little harder, but I'd recommend contacting the vendor prior to ordering in the future to avoid this from happening altogether. Considering all the hoops you ultimately had to jump through and the end result, dropping the name of the company wouldn't be so bad either, even if your opinion of the company is unpopular. Accountability is HUGE to me. That's not to say I won't order from them but if there is a trend you'd be doing us all a service starting a dialog.

Good luck to you in the future. You shouldn't close your eyes to other companies based off a bad experience with one. There are plenty that can accommodate around your PG allergy.
