I think all this negative talk has really stalled the PIF thread.

Rule of thumb, if it's something you can't afford to do without don't put it up there. Trust has to begin somewhere.

Yes. My very first trade. It was the member Untamedrose mentioned. I have since only trading once. Trade was Unbelievably great. I couldn't be happier. I'm slowly getting back to trading.

I contacted Toni yesterday... I did not want to jump to conclusions. It hasnt been a month or anything like that, so I am trying to stay positive, or I was, untill i have heard from everyone else that have not receive theirs..so yes I have contacted Toni.

I'm miffed about that happening to both of you. I realize now that I sent that person some stuff a week or so ago, and after some very nice PM's back and forth, I actually threw in some extra stuff!

I say post the asswipe's name. The members here deserve to know and admin should not have an issue with the culprit being "outed" as they will just ban his sorry ... anyway.

We need to give it a couple more business days before naming names...I was told my accepted PIF was going out on the 1st, but if for some reason it didn't get out until the 6th...you know...stuff happens...I think, personally, I can give it a couple more days before I get really mad and post a name. If it was someone taking and making offers RIGHT NOW, I'd be shouting the name from the PIF roof top to warn people.

the way i see it if some1 was having issues or something that's understandable, say the cap wees on the stamps, the dog ate the money - then they should get in contact w/ ppl they owe things to to at least keep them apprised, the ONLY excuse some1 has for not making contact is lack of internet - but if they're seen online and not explaining then IMO there is no excuse

Will certainly not stop us from being active on the PIF thread. Just have been receiving so much stuff from so many good people on here it's time to get organized and get some good offers together. It probably won't be the last time it happens either, as Jules said it kinda comes with the territory. The good far outweighs the bad on here as far as I'm concerned. And Jules if the board slows down as a result of going public I apologize and will find a way to get things moving again.

Now everyone head over to that contest and let's post all those good moments, cause I know everyone here has way more than five! Heck we've got probably 30 or better in the short time we've been here, and I take 30 to 1 odds all day long!

This happened one time to me...i waited forever...no pm's..nothing. Finally, i received the shipment and I don't know what the heck that stuff was...I tossed it. YUCK!!!! I've spoken with several people who dealt with him and got screwed......Never saw this guy again on here.

I really never expect to get what I took, if I do then wow , great!
If I dont , I never think about it again. Thats really true!

I am giving something away, thats all.

When I make a trade in the classifieds that is different, then I would be upset I think,
but for some reason here, I never worry about it.

I've not been scammed, but lately I've felt screwed over and I am not really participating because I'm too bummed to. I don't really think I can talk much more about it though without causing problems here. I'm not even sure I should post this, but I have to get it out even a little bit.

And FTR, I feel like I'm doing something wrong/selfish by even mentioning it. Which is why I haven't posted about it-I don't want to be perceived as a whiny brat.
