Has anyone here ever converted a non-bottom fed Cyclone to squonk?

Well ive never done it, but you can do it one of two ways.

1. You can drill out the center pin, but this requires a drill press/ lathe, or INCREDIBLY steady hands

2. You can cut slits in the insulator for the juice to flow through.

...or you could just hit up chowder over at catfish atty mods and hell do it for you for a very reasonable price

Or do what they^^^ said:D

I drilled mine with a 1.5mm bit down from the top, all the way through and then cross drilled it with the same bit. No drill press involved. Just a set of soft jaws in my bench vise and a cordless drill. Nothin' to it...

Drilled mine with a Dremel and a #70 wire bit. Just make sure you hold the piece being drilled with pliers. Wrap in a cloth or paper towel to avoid scratches. The bits break easily and are like needles. You don't want your hand there.. use any kind of oil as a cutting oil. Just clean thoroughly after...

Damn.... You know, you guys are good. Im barely passable with a drill. I run all over the place and end up drilling holes all crooked at work. The guys said im not allowed to use the drills anymore. Now they do all the drilling:D
It's always good to start the hole by hand with a pin vise. They're cheap, like $4 on eBay. Especially on round/curved surfaces. You can get the wire bits on eBay as well. Buy multiple. They break.

Very nice. I actually prefer the feed slightly raised. Like the little bit extra pooling and lessens the chance of corrupting the bottle....I know,I know everyone here prefers their atty to drain out.....

Thanks eddie, maybe ill just have to order some this weekend. I got a few cheapie attys from hdvs last sale with the intent to bf some of em. Ended up just wrecking two though
Depending on the design you can usually use the screw hole of the center post as a guide like custom classic said for drilling down through the post. Though you definitely want to start the feed hole by hand with something like a pin vise....round/curved surface...

They're great to have anyway. Makes widening holes on a top cap a breeze without pulling all your tools out...talking about a normal thin top cap....
