Has anyone honed out the inside of a 306 driptip?

I went to put a new driptip on my Grand today and it was obviously a really, really tight fit over the atty. After learning recently how easy it is to pull a 306 apart, I changed my mind and kept the old driptip on.
Just wondering if anyone had already experienced this and knew of a slick way to enlarge the opening and not make a mess of it. I have a Dremel with a variety of attachments. Just wondering how easy it would be to make the enlargement uniform across the circumference(or is it radius--I dunno).
Anyone done this before? Thanks in advance.:)

Have not done this yet but should be easy. I would use the smallest Sanding disk if you got one that will fit in to the DT. Or just take it slow with a grinding attachment. If its not to tight you may just wont to roil a peace of sand paper and see if you can get it that way.

Good luck. :)
