Has Anyone Replaced The Filler Material on V4Life Cartos?

I've been using a small square of this very porous material on the end of a 510 cart and seem to get as many hits before it needs to be refilled as a V4Life carto.

Can I pull the filler material from a V4Life carto and replace w/the stuff above?

It would absorb the juice better and probably last longer if it's possible.

Why would you want to? If it's burnt up then try washing it first then maybe change it, but other than that I can'st see it.
They are meant to be disposed of in time.

I've taken the stuffing out of a V4L carto to use in a 510. that's about all their good for. It's disconcerting to see how much juice didn't vape in a carto that's no longer producing anything.

I vape the Vapor King from V4L because I dont have to change anything about it.(like I did with the 510) But if that is something you enjoy doing....go for it.

Simpler solution would be to buy a DSE901 atty and refill those. I find a 901 vapes great on my V4L extra long battery. Plus you don't look like a goof with mismatched colored catros, not to mention long term savings of not buying carts every other week.

Naw, I stay away from that 901 and 510 junk because I already have a full-time engineering job.

Between refilling, dripping and all that jazz, if I had to start changing filler, I'd probably go bonkers.

why would you even consider doing this? the carto runs great as it is. just leave it alone. but if you insist and i think you do then have a great time. from some of your posts it seems your looking for extra work to do. I just vape the darn thing. its better than cigarettes. just vape it and be happy.
Put 30 drops in the carto then sit back and puff away and think of yourslef in the bahamas laying on a hammock. Or buy a fewe pks cartos then rip them apart to see if your foam or filler is better than their foam and see if your work better. Mickeal i think V4Life have done all these tests so we dont have to. Or you can go to atomizer type of cart and just drip. no filling that way for you to mess with.
these cartos were designed so we dont have to do extra stuff anymore. just screw the carto on the battery or Mod and just vape. Life cant get any easier.

Hey Mike, I had one carto that had no threads, I decided to take it apart. The coil is so fragile, I don't think it would survive a rewrap. Let us know if it works for you!

I actually tried this with a couple of old cartos that had just about run their course. The filler was dark brown and I couldn't get it clean any more. I was unable to remove the filler without destroying the atty. Lesson learned.

They are wonderful as-is, but I love my refills too, with just a bit of vg added to the juice. Makes V4L juices perfect for me. Very satisfying. I use blue foam on my 510 only.

Yes, this has been tried and the threads on it are in the technical portion. I do understand why you are trying to do this, but it is difficult to pull off and the result will not be what you want. The problem that you will find is that the filing you are trying to replace will have the same effect with a carto as it does with the cart and atty combo. Take notice that the batting in the cartomizers is a lot more dense to hold more liquid. What I think you will accomplish is a carto that will not hold as much liquid and be a little messy, IMO.

Before you ask, if you have not tried already, the carto material in a cartridge/atty combo will not work as well as you hope either. When you start experimenting with that, check out the mods section for the most help with those questions.
