Has anyone taken apart a Chalice?

I have a version 1 Chalice in which the positive post is no longer connected electrically to the positive pin of the 510 connector, so I assume there must be a wire in there that has broken. I would like to fix it but am not sure how to get the thing apart for inspection without marring it. Does anyone know how to get the bottom of the Chalice apart? I know that Mark Bugs would probably fix it if I send it to them, but after some initial email communication with them they have not responded to me further, so I am frustrated and would like to attempt to repair it myself. Any help appreciated!

A little update. It's possible to push out the center pin and remove the posts, and I was able to fish out the broken connector wire. Unfortunately I dropped the tiny positive post insulator and can't find it on the floor! Just have to rig something up to replace the insulator like some viton o rings and I think I may be able to fix this guy. Yikes
