Honestly, from my ridiculous number of miles domestically and abroad I'd suggest using a backup of lesser-value for carry-on and on-place vaping. You can conceal, you can discuss, you can educate, you can be obvious and educate up-front... problem is if ~one~ person that is a member of the TSA, Airline crew, or otherwise decides to be difficult then you might lose it. And that battle, however easy as it should be, is frequently never won. And the solution of letting you mail it back to yourself, I tried that once and my stuff still disappeared. Just not worth the risk with something so nice IMO. -Magnus
