Graham cracker?
NY Cheesecake?
Maple?

I'm looking at my first order of Capella flavors and wondering if anyone has tried these three, and what your thoughts are one them.

(I'm also getting cinnamon danish swirl, marshmallow, peanut butter, and chocolate fudge brownie - but there are plenty of reviews on those already LOL. :) )

Thanks!

Good choices. The peanut Butter is one if my favorites from Capella. I dig the graham cracker too.

I've heard good things about the cheesecake, but all I get is a weird sour taste.

Thanks for the input!
Hmmm. Sour cheesecake may not be too terribly bad, but "weird sour" doesn't sound so good.... I'm looking for "extra-cheesy" and not quite so much "creamy vanilla". Did you mix it by itself, or did you add any other flavors/sweetener?

I tries it on its own at 5 and 10%. It might be ok in a mix at a lower percentage.

I'd also recommend the Sugar Cookie for vanilla/sweetening. It's very underrated. Also the chocolate toffee is very dark but very nice. I prefer it by far to the brownie.

Never tried capellas but I might have to now lol

If you're speaking of the Cap's AP, to really kick up the apple flav, spike the recipe with some Cap's Green Apple!

I like the cheesecake... I haven't mixed it up on its own, but I've used it in a blueberry cream cheese danish recipe and it worked great. (There's a recipe around for a raspberry danish juice. STR8VAPING [his name is something like that] posted it. I used that recipe, but didn't have any raspberry.)

WARNING: Don't search the flavor reviews forum for "Capella" unless you're willing to double the amount of flavorings you had originally intended to order. Seems like people have nothing but good things to say about their flavors.

Now up to:
Sweet Strawberry
Chocolate Fudge Brownie
Cinnamon Danish Swirl
Cinnamon Coffee Cake
Maple Pancake Syrup
Marshmallow
Blueberry
Vanilla Custard
NY Cheesecake
Graham Cracker
Peanut Butter

Anything else that I'm missing out on?

I'm going to need more empty mixing bottles.

I'm afraid I went a little overboard when I ordered flavors from capella, I was disappointed that Vanilla Custard was sold out.

They are out at Capella, but they have it in stock at High Desert Vapes and Netrition. (not that I'm, ya know, enabling you or anything....)

I managed to get everything I wanted needed at HDV except the sweet strawberry, and yes - I definitely went overboard as well.

EDIT: Capella's website has VC also, it is ecigexpress.com that is out.

I read a capella review and that person said the french vanilla was very close to the vanilla custard. So for my beat up taste buds what percentage would you suggest I start with?

Oh, now you are asking the wrong person....I have no idea. I have mixed up a grand total of three Capella flavors, and I'd say I only got one of those "right" (cinnamon danish swirl). This will be my first time with any of their vanillas, and to be honest I picked up VC to use as a supplement to other flavors.

I think I remember reading something in the flavor review forum about a starting percentage for VC... lemme look.

EDIT: Nope, the post I was thinking of didn't have any percentages. My [very limited] experience says the sweet spot will probably be around 13-17%, so I'd suggest starting at 10% and working your way up. Taste buds are different, YMMV, and all the normal disclaimers... :)

EDIT #2: Well, I just read another post that said it was strong enough for them at 4-5%. So maybe start there?

Graham cracker is a good background flavor, it has a malty/grahammy foretaste and a light cinnamon after note. I have tried it straight, definitely a mixer flavor.

NY Cheesecake is subtle, if even slightly overused its the one cappelas flavor that tastes "off". I like it mixed with 1/3 sweet strawberry, 1/3 strawberries and cream with a couple drops of graham or sugar cookie. Its another one that I do not really think is excellent by itself.

Have not tried the maple.
