Has anyone tried vaping in the toilets on a plane?

Hi all

I'm hoping my juices arrive before I go away in 2 weeks. I have a 6 hour flight, and I was wondering whether you think I could get away with vaping in the toilets on the flight? I mean, since it's not smoke, I assume the smoke detectors wouldn't go off? And even if I did get "busted" there's no smell of smoke, they'd just smell coffee (one of the juices I ordered).

Judgement Call.

People DO stealth-vape in fight, but it's a risk vs. reward sort of thing.

Consider this...You could single-handedly ruin it for everyone, and cause some sort of strict-policy to be put into place which doesn't allow us to bring vape gear when travelling via air.

be smart and careful if you do it

Ok, you make good points. I'm used to doing the trip without a nicotine hit, so no reason I can't continue to do so. And at least now I can vape right before I board the plane, rather than an hour before because it's so far to the outside of the airport. Thanks guys.

No doubt. That's what I do now.

I agree, you could very well cause the TSA to not allow the gear to be carried on. Then you couldn't vape at the airport either.

THIS IS SUCH A HUGE THING TO CONCIDER. I know that when I fly, I like to vape in the bathroom stall right b4 my flight, and very soon after. If they were among the prohibited items not allowed on board AC then I would have to wait till I got to my luggage, the airlines need two things, a vaping section on board during flight at which they could sell their $5 drinks and a $25 disposable Ecig (you know they would jack up the cost)

Yes I would like a Gin and Tonic, and a Menthol 16mg electronic cigarette with my meal.

Great idea Eamus. Too bad it won't "fly." It might but I think it would be way more expensive. Like $35-40 for a disposable.

True, Frank, so true. Hey the airlines can charge whatever they deem appropriate, as for some of us veteran vaporers, we will all have out PV with us, so no worries, and if we didn’t...well I know I would break down and get one. Have you ever been in one of those smoking rooms in the air ports? America is ventilated to a point that you can see one another, Germany has these little kiosk rooms for three or four people, and Bahrain just had a room with zero ventilation, but people were spilling out. I will take my chances in the bathroom stall. BTY did you catch what Eamus Catuli means, judging by your name you may know. it is very esoteric to Chicago.
