Has anybody used one of COV DC attys on their Reo? It doesn't have the rubber ring around the post so I'm afraid of shorting my Woody. The rubber ring around the atty/carto connector is intact but is that enough?
I use them since three weeks. I wrote a little review here. After three weeks I have to say: the are working still fine. I ordered 20 of them after testing. But not at COV (10$). The same DCs are much cheaper in the UK. Take a look at vapourworld.co.uk (5,80$).
I think you are all great. Oh, you mean the dca. It worked good, didn't short my battery but I think it muted the flavor a bit. I haven't really tried it long enough to really tell yet.
I have here one Cisco 306, two HH.357 and three Dual Coil 510 attys.
The HH.357 are to expensive, to difficult to handle high end gadgets.
But the Dual Coils are like heaven!!! They are absolutely number one. Throw away your ciscos. If you have no more x-mas money, go and ask your grandmother. Go and get a dozen of them. (But be carefully with 1.5Ohm; I am happy with 1.7 - 1.9)
I got two of them recently via the classifieds. They were okay at 3.7 when I was using them on the reo, but once I put them on my 5v box mod I was REALLY impressed with them.
I haven't tried them at 6v on the reo as I am starting to worry about possibly compressing the spring and having to be without my baby for a while (dratted postal delays)
In UK they are offered in a very big range of different ohm. So it is totally easy for you to vape hardcore at 4,2 V with a high drain battery and a very low resistance atty.
