Has Hypnotic Mist changed?

Hey guys,

I just received a new bottle of Hypnotic Mist (my third this year) and it looks different from ones I've gotten in the past. My other bottles have been pink, and this one has a golden orange color. Also, it's a bit thicker too. I've always gotten a 50/50 blend and my first two bottles were pretty thin by comparison. Has the recipe changed?

The recipe didn't change, but colors have changed on a few flavors since FlavourArt removed diacetyl from them. I'm not sure about it being thicker, but the flavor should still taste the same.

I'm gonna wait to try out the flavor. I have a usual steep routine. The viscosity is only an issue because HM was my go-to cartomizer juice. Always went cleanly into the polyfill without pooling up. Thanks for the inside info. I'll check back in with some tasting notes later.

colors do change from time to time and batch to batch. since FlavourART is a custom manufacturer they are constantly bringing in product but just like tobacco leaves they are not always exactly the same color each time. still the same fine product though

Just to point something out...

Hypnotic mist juice starts off as a pale, transparent pink and turns into a golden yellow color as it steeps. I have been using HM for a while now and every new bottle I have ordered, and my own DIY HM Juice, has done the same transformation. In fact, I have a new 60 ML bottle that just arrived and it is very light pink, almost clear. My last 15 ml or so from my last order is very dark golden yellow. If you received a new bottle and it is already turning yellow that just means it has steeped a little bit. Nothing to worry about.


For what it's worth, I did not notice any change in flavor after the removal of diacetyl from the Hypnotic Mist flavoring.

Thanks for the information... I was wondering the same, since I have two 30ml bottles with different colors, the new one is yellow (8/18/2011) and the old one is pinkish (3/30/2011).

rwaters: I often find colours change from order to order (ie my first moon pie was almost black, the second one was very pale and stayed that way) but the flavours seem to be consistent. I just figure flavourart sometimes change the colours they use. Als long as the flavour stays consistently awesome, I'm a happy girl.

FlavourART changes colors depending on raw ingredients. no two tobacco leaves are the same color. so goes for all other raw ingredients, vanilla beans etc. the beauty of that is they aren't mars manufacturing and everything is all the same every single time no matter what. the vaping industry will always be that way. to me, it is a good thing
