Hi all,
I've done the calculations for the atty's I use (1.3 to 1.5), and I don't see them coming anywhere close to causing problems with what my batteries can "supposedly" safely sustain in terms of power and current. Both these fuses trip at around 5 amps, so for my atty's this won't be a problem.
Also, I was thinking that if the batteries themselves failed internally (shorted), then these fuses wouldn't protect anything as it's external to the battery. This sounds like a correct assumption to me.
I know some of you use these, but I wanted to know if any of you have had them trip... during normal usage? If so, what was the cause.
Note: SLR maniacs need not reply about not using fuses. I already know you don't use fuses!
Thanks!
