I have been thinking about trying one but am just not sure. I have wasted so much money finding out what works for me that I have become a skeptic about a lot of things. I am using a Provari with a smoke tech tank right now and I love it. I do like the idea of a rebuildable coil tho. What has your experience with the Vivi Nova been like?

I have the original V1 Vivi Nova. I'm running the original 2.4 head on a Provari in the 3.5-3.6 range. I trimmed the wicks to about 1/2", which I think boosted the flavor. I have had no issues with mine....good vapor, good flavor....I like it a lot. There are some V2 versions around, and a V2.5 version due very soon. Based on my experience, I have seen no reason to rebuild anything....and will order a couple more when the new ones arrive.

I'm one of those people who hates the taste of polyfill....so the carto tanks just don't work for me. I would love a Phiniac, but until they come out with something that works with a clearo instead of a carto....I just can't go there.

I have two of them I use everyday and mine both work good between 3.7 and 4v. I haven't done any modding and I haven't had any wicking issues or burnt taste. It doesn't have quite as good of flavor as some but it is good enough for me. I like how easy they are to fill with no leaking at all plus having replaceable attys. These make it the best tank I've tried. I don't really care for the carto tanks myself maybe because I never got the hang of refilling or changing cartos without getting juice everywhere plus I had leaking problems with them. Maybe I was lucky and got two good ones but so far I'm happy with them.

I just got one of these from a supplier at my local flea market on saturday. V2 with short wicks like a stardust. I love it so far its been great! Easy to fill no condensation build up that gets juice in your mouth like most ce2 type devices. Just got to remember to give it a tilt once in a while and she vapes great! I have the 2.4 head and it reads 2.9 on my Provari so I set it anywhere from 4.5 to 5v any higher and it gets a little too hot and gives a burnt taste but other than that its been fine. Super easy to clean and fill.

I've got version one, lots of pluses to it. Metal screw on end caps, metal tubes available in various colors, easy to rebuild, easy to fill and clean and doesn't leak. I never get any burnt or dry hits from it but the flavor does seem a bit muted in comparison to my trusty ole CE2s no matter what I try, even after making my own coils.

IMO it's worth the money for all the pluses. Hopefully the newer heads will be an improvement with flavor.

I want to try one. The only reservation I have is that it's basically just a giant clearo right? Well, I ALWAYS mod my clearos by enlarging the wicking notches. I find that at the voltage I vape at, I don't get a sufficient juice flow otherwise. I'm not sure how that would work in one of these tanks. If it's a completely different sort of seal and it's a non issue, or if it's the same sort of seal, but that I can't mod without epic tank failure.

So I'm still on the fence about that one. But I know for sure I don't want a carto tank. I can't stand polyfill. Actually, you know, I might just end up making my own clearo tank, by slotting a clearo and just sticking it inside a regular carto tank. Or if that doesn't work maybe just all out gutting a clearo, except for a bit of plastic body on the top and bottom, and a few thin plastic pieces going down the whole body of the clearo for structeral integrity. Wonder how that would work.....

I have a couple of Vivi Nova tanks and I like them but I just got the E2 Apollo yesterday and it is even better. It also has replaceable innards, holds more than 5 ml of juice and cooler looking to me anyways. Here is a picture on a Mini Lava. DV has them for 12.99 E2 Apollo Tank

What is better about the Apollo? I have been using the V2 Nova for about a week and a half. With the 2.4 ohm (provari said it was 2.6) I was getting decent vapor but not much flavor. Ran it between 4.2-4.8 After a few days the juice started getting really dark in the tube like it was getting heated up. I tried lowering the voltage (down below what gave me a satisfying hit) and it didn't help. Just swapped it out with the 1.8 ohm (2.1 on the provari), same lack of taste. Running it at 4.2-4.5 so far. Wondering if letting the juice get almost to the bottom is what is causing it to darken/burn.

I had to quit my carto/tank because I was getting real tightness in my lungs. Vaping has always gave me tightness, (like I had when I smoked cigarettes) but it got way worse with the carto/tank, I think it was the polyfill. Therefore I want a non drip solution to vaping and I had hoped the Nova would be it. Far from ideal, I really liked the vapor and flavor of the cartos, but better than constantly dripping.

I am interested in the Apollo, please tell me more.

I got mine yesterday, and my first thoughts are: It produces great vapor, albeit a bit of a muted flavor. I have only used the head marked 2.4, the Provari reads 2.9 and I'm having the best luck running it at less than 4 volts. My only complaint so far is the lack of flavor. Vapor production is excellent, but I haven't tried anything but a 50/50 ry5 from freedom smoke usa as of yet.

Well I have'n't had any dry hits with it. It seems to be sturdier built and produces better flavor than the Nova and holds around 5.5 ml. They are also much cheaper. You can buy a tank here for 7.00. 510 EGO Super Excalibur 6ml Tank [Super Excalliber] - $7.00 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts VC calls it a Super Excalibur.
They have sold 30 since yesterday and only have 12 left.

You can also buy the Apollo from DV E2 Apollo Tank They are 12.99 at DV but he sells the replacment modules a little cheaper. E2 Apollo Tank
