If it is VV and is a Twist or Spinner, there will be numbers around the bottom and you turn the silver part to get the number that works best. As for exploding batteries, etc., probably not an issue. I think that most batteries that are not vv are set at around 3.7 volts, and I guess that is right around where most people find their sweet spot. You just won't be able to adjust the volts up or down to find yours.

Shoudn't be any worries about an exploding battery, but coild DO burn out and have to be regularly replaced on every tank. Whether or not it VV should be easy to tell: If the bottom of the battery will twist it is, if not it isn't, provided it is an ego style battery. If you are currently a smoker and trying to quit, I highly suggest the VV batteries, I've known many a person who was trying mto quit and couldn't quite do it with a standard ego but was able to kick the habit when they got a VV.

On recommendation from a friend I bought a starter kit off of a Canadian site.
I got a 1100 battery and a Kanger ProTank 2. my question is ism not sure if its variable voltage, if its not a VV will i be suffer from exploding battery or burnt out coils or any other such thing.

Believe it or Not.

But Many of Us switched from Regular Cigarettes to e-Cigarettes without the aid of Variable Voltage PV's. And we Didn't even have Tanks or Clearos or RBA's.

I'm sure what you Bought will work. I am Also sure that It will Not Be the last PV you buy.

Do you have a Link to where you got your Kit?

I really Think it will be Fine.

Poke around the ECF or do some Google Searches regarding ProTanks. I think you will find that Many People are using them with Fixed Voltage eGo and like it.

Also. Do a Little Math.

Take what the Kit you Just Bought Costs and Divide that Number by how much you Spent per day on Regular Cigarettes. What you get is the Number of Days you need to use your Kit to Break Even.

And After that, you are Saving Money. So if you Want to go out a Buy Another PV after that, No Problem. You are Money Ahead anyway. And Now your 1st Kits becomes a Back-Up.

YEah this was more to see if I like it anyways so as long as it works for a bit to try things out I can buy a mod or somthing.

I didn't say to drink water.. LOL while most will say that, I say "Fluids".. Vaping does dry you out. Do what ever you feel needs to be done to keep you hydrated! ;)

All depends on your own tastes.. I have a DIY chocolate that goes good with my coffee, but then, I Like chocolate in my coffee ;) ... and NicQuid Pom Beach (pomegranate and strawberry) that does so also!

Yeah I was considering a chocolate or Namber Juices Doughnut Pounder to go with my walk to work coffee.
