If it has been a few days there may be some oxidation and it may need cleaning. I would order some noalox online whether that's the problem or not, it will be sooner or later. Without noalox you can do the sandpaper clean and it'll help, you'll just have to do it a lot more often.

If it has been a problem straight out of the box, pm Drew. When I had problems with my button sticking he mentioned there is a spring in the switch you can "trim" so the button pushes much easier. I would not recommend doing this without talking to him first though. hth :)

Mine was the same way, used a thin piece of fine sandpaper folded in half, put it between the button and the case, lightly pushed the button then pulled the paper out. Fixed it for a day, then had to repeat. Read about Noalox, and Ox-Gard which I got at Ace Hardware. It is for putting on aluminum wires to prevent corrosion. Put that on and on the threads on the top piece and it works with just light pressure on the button now.

I've also found that I have to press the button down all the way for mine to activate. It's not hard to press, however. I rather like mine that way, as it makes it easier to carry in my suit jacket pocket and not have to worry about accidental activation. It seems that every couple of days I'm having to use a toothpick to apply the noalox for optimum firing, but I'm okay with that.

I can't stay long, since I've had to drag myself off of my sickbed (stomach flu) to post this, but my package from eastmall with some reg voltage 510, 901 and 801 attys are on the way and is entering customs. I've never tried the 801s before, but the 901 from my wife's dse905 works great on my xhaler? What is anyone's experience using these attys on their unit.

I lucked out on my #7 model purchase from lawnman3, really like how this sucker looks, and love how it works.
