I'm so jealous! I ordered my SS mini back on FEB 27 when they ere supposed to be in stock still and then received an email after paying that they were not in stock and they would send it 3/15. Well that didn't happen so they pushed it to 3/31 and now 4/15. I'm starting to wonder if they're ever really coming. lol. I'm glad you posted a pic. It is beautiful. I already have the standard lavatube which I love, but that SS is gorgeous.

I might have to get the copper one. I have a Chrome Firefly. The thing is pretty but it's a fingerprint magnet. Yeah, the chrome one will be chrome over copper.

A new company started by a former L-Rider employee is coming out with a stainless Lavatube. It'll have the Verson 1 guts and be available in Europe. I hope it's available here since I'm going to miss the Apollo version unless I get one used or they don't sell out before their delivery.

I think I will have to pass on the copper one, although it will look like a giant bullet with a metal tank on top :)

Maybe if they clear coat it. I have a really nice copper mod, thanks to Rick at Atmos (vapor alley), but apparently copper does not react well with my skin.

They have a metal treatments, like a polish, that you can get to completely protect copper without using a clear coat. I discovered it a couple years ago when I was looking for something hypo-allergenic to treat old antique brass razors. They use it for architectural copper that's exposed to the elements and interior brass and copper that's exposed to a lot of touching, like doorknobs and staircase banisters. I'll see if I can find the link in my old bookmarks.

I have heard of it, but never used it. Thanks.
