I'm new at this but it sounds like you got a drop if liquid in the center hole. This can happen if you don't tilt while loading, or you load too fast, or your tip is not screwed down completely. And I'm sure there are other reasons too. I'd blow the CE5 into a paper towel after making sure the tip is hand tight to clear the air stem. Once you stop getting drops you should be good to go.

Depending upon your particular vaping technique, and other variables, it sounds like it could very well could just be condensation that runs down the air tube.

I noticed that happening on some of my early gear, some more than others, and started letting off of the button at least a second before I stopped drawing on the carto. I only get a slight residue of tiny droplets most of the time, now.

Also, since not all vendors seem to agree upon what a CE5 is :)facepalm:), if it's the changeable head style, you could have a leak at the base of the head, if it's not secure, or the o-ring is damaged.

Either the center tube was not dry when you loaded it and put it on your unit. Or you flooded the chamber behind the twist on head. This means let the tube dry completely and make sure you do not over fill and have the top screwed all the way down. I hope you get them working right since I love my Stardust Rebuild-able clearomizer and my ViVi Nova Mini.

All my Stardust's and V3 rebuildables do that. My best guess is that it's condensation buildup in the tip. Every 30 minutes or so i unscrew the drip tip and unleash the joose. If I forget, it will flood and run down the tube to the contact. Got so annoying i grabbed a Vivi Nova and haven't had any leaks or condensation buildup at all. What i like about the Vivi is that it's basically the same as a clearo, but it seals better and holds more liquid.

Also, sometimes twisting a paper towel and running it up from the base can get it cleared out, best to do after blowing from the tip first.
