Hi,

I am fairly new to vaping and I am having a hard time finding an e-juice that I like, just a little history...Started vaping about three months ago and I have about 15-20 bottles of juice most are a waste. My first order was from BWB, so I got Casablanca, Honey Flue, and Virginia. Then I tried Suicide Bunny OB (to creamy for me), Ahlusion, Smooth Criminal, Just Criminal, CWW and Sahara (which tastes like burnt rubber to me) AND to make a long story short several others from local shops etc......

So the only one that I can consider a ADV is Casablanca from Backwoods Brew, I had really high hopes for Ahlusion so I will let them steep and hopefully they will come around. Any advice on other liquids that are similar to Casablanca??? Thanks in Advance!

I'm here, when I'm here
Unless you get the express bottles, it is pretty well accepted that many Ahlussion flavors need to steep for a LONG time before use.

Ultimately
All I can tell you is keep trying new stuff.

I went to Ahlusion today and no express liquids were in stock that I checked on. :(

Good luck. Juice is a personal thing and it can be a real problem finding ones that are right for you. One thing I have done is looked through reviewers and find ones that like the same stuff I do and then try their recommendations.

Another thing is that the local B&Ms will often have tasting bars to test their juice. I learned I did not like any of the tobacco flavors there.

I like citrus flavors if you want some recommendations in that area.

Well went through the threads like RY4, NET's, etc...to try to find the popular liquids. One of the vape shops have a sample bar but most are not that great, it's just really getting frustrating especially when you are trying to quit smoking. I kind of know what I don't like IE: creamy, bakery, fruityish types.

Well I'm all ears if you don't mind posting a couple good ones and the suppliers. The only one so far that I like is GLV Orange Blossom.

Max, I don't mean to hijack your thread, I just like Citrus. An for what it is worth Nicoticket has the Virus which has a tobacco flavor but there is also a bit of mystery flavor in there, sometimes brown sugar, sometimes maple. I just know it's pretty good.

I went through the same juice hunt, and I did find one I was settled on at a local B&M, but there was a guy working there who decided to hate me and treated me really really bad, to the point of sabotaging the juice I bought there. I've since learned he's assaulted two of his co-workers, one of them the store manager, and he's still there, while the manager quit because the bad guy was sleeping with the owner. Yeow....

Okay, all that got me into making my own juice, and I shortly came up with one that I totally love and is better than anything I've ever gotten from a vape store. So you might want to venture into DIY, it saved me a great deal of money and hassle. I get just what I want that way, no one can mess with it, it's way cheaper, and it's really good juice.

I strongly recommend getting yourself some unflavored.

Sometimes it's like there's something you don't like in eliquids and it turns out it's the PG, or maybe it's the VG; so a little experimenting with unflavored helps figure out a pg/vg ratio that you might prefer; after that, you figure out flavors.

Oh; and most importantly; taste depends a whole lot on your hardware; so I'd be carefull about spending too much on the flavor chase.

You might hate a liquid today, then tomorrow you try it on somebody else's dripper and you're blown away.

So find a taste you can at least work with as a cigarette replacememt, and spend your time on the topper; coils do get gunked up and end up muting flavor or giving a burnt taste.

Finding flavors your tastebuds approve of are part of the challenge to vaping but when you do find one.......it is so worth it. I guess I have been luck and received some great recommendations. When you find out what kind you do like you may even consider getting into the DiY part of vaping. Some wonderful threads on ecf and people that will help. I have been so pleased with what I make that it has gotten to the point where I prefer it to others. There is a deal and steals thread on here that list specials from some really good vendors. That way you can get a good price while you are trying to figure it out. Good luck to you and I wish you happy vaping.

Another suggestion would be to mix some of the flavors you have and maybe find a new flavor that you like. I know I had some vanilla custard and it was just sort of blah. I added some blueberry premade to it and used it all up. Love it when that happens because I know you don't want to waste anything. (if you are frugal like me).

You're in Atlanta ? Do you realise you're within spitting distance of Heather's Heavenly Vapes in Newnan GA. hustle over to HHV and sample some NET's , you just might find what you're looking for .

I like this advice a lot the more I think about it. I'm literally in the same boat with the OP. Although some of the juices I've found have been OK, I am still in search of something that fully replaces the smokes. For me, I find a flavor that tastes decent and vape it for a couple of hours then it just gets to be too much. Back in my cart days, this pretty much meant wasting a cart (all 5-6 days ago), but now I find I do many trips to the sink rinsing my clearomizer and loading up a new flavor.

I have a bottle of 50/50 pg/vg with 24 nic coming soon, I just may try this approach to see if its the pg, the vg, or nothing that is holding me back. Thanks much. :)

There is a site called juicedb.com and many have described Casa as a lite pipe blend. They said it was similar to Pirates Booty from HHV, having never tried that I can't say.?.

This is a site I found and have followed their input quite a bit. I found Keystone Vapor through them and I have to say, I do really like Zach's Dutch chocolate milk. Never would have come across his stuff without that site.
