I've been trying to get this thing to work for days now and I just can't seem to get anywhere. I've tried the Peter K method and the normal method but I get bright red hotspots on the top coil every single time. When I do the Peter K method the coils fire perfectly without the wick inserted but as soon as I put it in I am back to square one with the hot spots. It's getting extremely frustrating.

Anyone have some advice or tips?

What kind of wick are you using? it sounds like you're using SS Mesh, and I'll be honest, i tried for months to use that crap and it's not worth your trouble. Your best bet is to wrap a coil, and use cotton.

Also, before you blow your battery up and kill yourself/permanently injure yourself, get yourself a multi meter and stop playing around with RBAs without one.

If the vape is very weak, your contacts might be loose. Check both positive nuts and negative screws.

32 gauge is pretty thin, get some 30 or 28.

If you dont have any battery stronger than an eGo Twist (by the sound of it?), your vape wont be too good using mesh: the energy output is too low, and the mesh is swallowing up most of the meager heat you put out.

Finally, i have an AGA-T2 walkthrough in my blog. Click the number 1 under my avatar.
