Ok, so I have been vaping Blu's for a while now, and still keep some around for the portability and because I love their tobacco flavor over all others, but for at-home vaping (and to save some money) I just got a Kanger EVOD2 Starter Kit from VapeDojo.com (two batteries, two clearomizers, and 5 atomizers). The kit is great so far, but I am having a problem with the VG juice I got from Johnson Creek. I really like the Blu tobacco flavor, and heard the Domestic and Red Oak Tennessee Cured flavors from JC would be close to the Blu one. So I got both of those from Johnson Creek, along with a RY4 from VapeDojo that is 60PG/40VG. I hate the RY4 flavor, but it vapes really well in the EVOD2. The Johnson Creek flavors, on the other hand, I like the flavor but they only produce very small amounts of vapor and its hard to get a good hit. I am aware that PG naturally produces more vapor, but I don't think that is the problem here. When I fill the EVOD2 up with mostly Johnson Creek VG juice, then add a few drops of the 60/40 RY4, then it vapes beautifully and the flavor is still pretty good (I can barely notice the RY4 taste). I would like to find out if there are other clearomizers better suited to pure VG juice, or if something else entirely is the problem. I have tried cleaning out the atomizer, refilling it with the different juices from JC, and even using the two different clearomizers that came in the kit with the different JC juices, but I keep getting the same problem until I add some of the RY4 to the mix. I suppose I could get a new/longer wick, but don't know much about the subject or if it would help. I guess I could also look for a PG/VG blend of tobacco flavor that is close to the Blu, maybe that would work better with the EVOD2. Basically I just want to know why my pure VG juices aren't working so well with the EVOD2, and what I can do about it. Thanks...

Vg= vapor PG= flavor and minor throat hit. Try letting the coil have a couple mins on the initial fill to soak in the liquid. I remember starting out I tried vaping immediately after a fill and often got dry hits. If that works then try to avoid chain vaping. If you vape fast, it burns liquid fast, too fast for the thicker liquid to keep up. You can buy PG if you wanted to add a little to the mix. A more convenient option would be to add a little distilled water. By a little I mean add 1-2 drops in your tank, give it a solid shake and check again. It will thin out faster then you expect.

conj: "bottom dual coil setup with the 2.0 ohms"

And cool-breeze: I have tried letting it sit..that was my first instinct. I've let it sit for hours/days and it doesn't get better.

I guess my best options are to:
1. remove part of the top wick (will this help?)
2. add a couple drops flavorless PG to the mix
3. add some distilled water to the mix
4. find a PG/VG blend that is similar in flavor to Blu's tobacco (any recommendations?)
5. any recommendations for clearos better suited to pure VG juice?

thanks..
