The lock ring is the only thing that moves. Bottom, top, and middle all stuck in place. What do I do? I can't even change the battery it's all just stuck together. Only got this one like 2 days ago.
I got one too. Copper is a really soft metal so when you tighten things down they tend to get stuck. You might wanna try and take the top airflow ring off and use a rag to put over the top so you don't damage the copper or just be really careful. Get a needle nose pliers and carefully remove the top cap. That should loosen everything else up. That's one of the things I hate about copper is it's always getting stuck (and a PITA to maintain). Hope that helps.
And put some lubricant before tightening again. I usually put some wd40 or similar products to keep the threads run smoothly and keep them from oxidating which is a pita with copper indeed.
Yep, quit using mine because of this. One thing I found that helps, when unscrewing it try not to squeeze it hard. I often switch to my non-dominant hand to keep from doing this. Trying to muscle it off...........it only clamps down on itself. Now have a chowdered top cap from pliers.
Over tightened the Switch and Bound everything up.
1) Freeze Nemesis - 4 hrs. minimum
2) Have Rubber grip gloves or Rubber Lid disk ready.
3) Remove from Freezer and twist Switch like your life depends on it.
I have only had one of my 8 do this but it was a Bear to get loose.
I have it in the freezer. Unfortunately the battery is still in there (since I can't open it anywhere obviously) but the cold wont ruin it right? It's a sony! (
Hopefully I can get it open, I just bought it and I really love the nemesis. I've had 2 before and this has never happened. I don't want to take pliers to it.
