Mechanical Mod seized up

Strap wrenches have always come through for me.

I had the same thing happen with my Penny. I wrapped tape around it and tried pliers. The tape just spun and left a little dig. Strap wrenches are the way to go...after I tried boiling it like mentioned

i deal with this often because im often drilling air holes out on rda's. If grip is what you need without damaging ANY of the finish on your mod then i highly suggest vise grips and rubber sheets.

Do not buy cheap vise grips, you will regret it. Get the real deal ones like irwin tools.

Rubber sheets you can get from mostly any hardware store.

"Mod Seized Up" ...

This is one of the reasons I dumped my Caravela clone and bought a King II clone ... The King has heavy knurling on both end caps and does not seize up:
