HC's ViVi Nova Tank vs eGo Clearomizer system

Hi, all,

I am considering buying a new battery (Health Cabin's 950mAh battery) with a clearomizer system which I prefer since I am accustomed to vape with a mod right now.

However, I am not pretty sure which "Clearomizer" I should buy.
There are two models: One is ViVi Nova tank and the other is eGo V3.
Both seem to be similar but I read something about ViVi Nova's one in ECF: a technical problem.

Is anyone familiar with this kind of tank or clearomizer model?

Please give me some suggestions.

BTW, I will not order any e-juice from Health Cabin though. Does HC still ship batteries and other things by the cheapest China Airmail ? On the front page, HC states that they are currently experiencing some problems in shipping.

I have messed with the ego clearomizers "Stardusts" I had the problems of cracking and fogging up with some of the harsher juices that containing Triacetin as a sweetner. I am now currently using a VIVI nova and no problems. Also the vivi nova u can get a metal tube.
I don't know too much about Health Cabin. I usually try to by from US suppliers just so I don't have to wait as long. But hey "To each his own".

Make sure the Novas are the 2.5 model. The reported problem of the Novas has been fixed and the newer models are OK. Some dealers may have old stock they are trying to dumb cheaply so beware. If you search around you can get a Nova Set with the 3 heads under $9.00. If you like the Nova setup you can also use the rebuildable CE5 types.

The Health Cabin vivi nova appears to be a knock off. Health cabin have some good stuff, but I'd avoid getting a vivi nova knock off. There have been several posts here from people who have problems with vivi knock offs. Some may work ok, but others don't. If you get a vivi then get the original Vision vivi nova.

I'm pretty new to all this so may not know as much as others but I've used the vision ego quite a bit. Not the vivi nova although I may get one in the future. The vision is pretty good, decent amount of vapour on my generic ego batteries. Obviously the advantages of seeing your juice amount, though personally I'm not so into the glass look. hold enough for me to get through the day.

Main problems with them, I find teh wick has to be well soaked so you need to keep it topped off. Otherwise I tend to get a nasty dry burn kind of thing that is just foul, really harsh. You seem to be able to mitigate this with some tilting, to an extent. I've also found some backflow of juice with tilting or hitting it too muchl/quickly, unpleasant. All in all I wouldn't buy another, but I'm happy to use it.

I've purchased Vivi Novas from Health Cabin and haven't had any issues. I haven't tried the Ego V3. I ordered juice and batteries from Health Cabin a few months ago, and there was no problem with shipping, although it took 3 weeks to get to me. The juice wasn't very good, maybe it's their bottles, but they all tasted like plastic.

I've used both Stardusts and the Vivi and the Vivi has a better draw and is far superior in build quality. As for the cracking issues both the Stardust and Vivi earlier versions had cracking and wicking issues. I prefer the Vivi. As for Healthcabin they are ECF listed/ verified, have quality gear and have a large and loyal following. I've ordered lots of stuff from and have been very satisfied. I've yet to come across knockoffs on their site.

I use both the stardust and the Vivi Nova - not the mini. I like them both pretty equally, I've had
no issues with either of them. The Vivi holds more juice, so for that reason only, I'd put it above
the stardust.

I've ordered from HC many a times in the past with no problems whatsoever. I think you can still choose the cheap shipping. Once you have a few items in your cart, hit the "estimate shipping" button to be sure.

I recently ordered some stuff from them (no liquid) and it took about 2 weeks going the cheapest way.

I'm with you on the Stardust though, I have no issues with it, and I don't prefer the taste of the Vivi compared to the Stardust at all. I just like that the Vivi hold a whole days worth of juice for me.

Maybe Paulette was referring to the skirt/thread cover. It's more of a cosmetic 'adapter' and not a functional requirement.

HC is an authorized Vision vender (linky), so your good.

The thread sleeve (sleeve cone) is only for aesthetics, but I consider it a must have if you're using the regular size VN and pair it with Ego/Kgo/Spinner.



For regular size VN you'll want type C, and the type D is for the mini VN.

Also, if you vape strong flavor ejuices, I would recommend getting a metal tank since some flavors tend to cling onto plastic tanks.

The vivi is much better than the stardust but make sure it is a real vivi nova!!! I have seen at least two knock offs and both would be prone to leaking and have lower grade plastic tanks. the real vivi novas do not leak! Also on one of the knock offs real vivi replacement atomizer and wicks won't fit. Be warned the knock off kits I have seen come in a box that looks the same as the real ones!

Fakes have a needle like piece of metal rising out of the atomizer that recesses into the top cap, the other fake I saw has an O-ring for the seal at the top of the atomizer as opposed to the cup seal on the real vivi's. the O-ring distorts when you tighten the top on the tank and thus leaks

Thanks for that. Some vendors sell the Vision vivi novas and knock offs on their sites at the same time. Hopefully they are the real ones - they just have less hassle it seems from feedback here on the forum.

This is wrong information, I have spoken to the vision; the actual Manufacturer of the vision viva nova and vision ego clearomizer (ce4) series

Vision supply health cabin with both these 2 products.
In fact they state them self on there news section that they only have 2 official partners in china that sell there genuine original product

The problem stems from the Manufacturer them self with one particular batch i would suspect.
