Head aches

A couple of my friends quit vaping because they were experiencing severe head aches. Time to time I've experience abnormal head aches (i'm not the type to get one, so any head ache is abnormal), but I've noticed that my head aches were from consuming too much nicotine, whether that be vaping and or smoking too much (usually both).

Initially, I thought that the nicotine consumption was to blame, but one of my friend vaped 0mg only. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Or does anyone know anything about it?

Headaches and excessive phlegm production are two of the chief symptoms experienced after quitting smoking. My wife is going through that right now, along with a stuffy nose and she quit using Wellbutrin. She just can't seem to wrap her head around vaping. It's a crutch in her mind. That's true, but it's a fun crutch that allows tapering off the nic without all the mental aberrations of cold turkey.

To me, the side effects of quitting while vaping were much better than the nervousness and mental gyrations of cold turkey. It will all settle down in time using the ecig.

My friend who smoked cigarettes, continued to smoke while vapeing. He ended up with really severe head aches. My other friend smoke 0 mg and never smoked and still ended up with severe head aches.

I have heard of this with higher nicotine levels like you said. However if that is not the case it may be what juice they are smoking. Does it happen on every juice that they try. Also, maybe a different combination of pg/vg is in order.

Just about any juice they tried, including the ones that didn't have a problem for them before their head aches started.

I'm sure there are people who just can't take the ingredients of ecig juice without side effects.

I have a niece who experiences allergy to anything containing peanuts and experiences anaphylactic shock just by taking a bite from a cookie with nut fragments in it. It's an emergency room visit for her if she encounters anything cooked in peanut oil. She's one of those who has to read the label that talks about the product being produced in a factory that processes nuts.

I saw my friend go through severe head ache while we were drinking ice tea & vaping at a starbucks.

Tea is a diuretic, which lowers the bodies hydration level. So is coffee and most sodas. The best way to hydrate is with straight water that is close to room temp.

I understand that some people have allergic reactions, but my friend vaped for several months before the head aches. Their head aches went away when they stopped.

I am slowly, and reluctantly, starting to believe there are some people who quite simply should not vape, for any number of reasons....

Do you think it could be because of the PG in the juice? I'd like to try one that's 100% VG, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Even the ones that claim that they're 100% VG, have been found to have PG in them, even if trace amounts.
