Last week I got my new Kanger Evod starter kit in the mail. Juiced her up and POOF!....I was instantly hooked. Love the flavors and the smooth vapor but felt as though I may be missing something. So, I did some research and now have a MVP20w and a Aspire nautilus Mini tank coming in the mail next week. LOL....That was a quick upgrade. The new gear should keep me happy for a while and I'm taking my Evod down to my father in law. Maybe he can stop those nasty tobacco cigs too.

As always, glad to be here and learn from you folks. Thanks

Look up RDA here and on Youtube and you'll get it pretty quickly.

RDA - Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer.
Basically, going that route, you're picking up a new hobby :)
I went to an APV (like MVP) after 3 months of ego use. Started rebuilding about 3 months after that. I started rebuilding about a year ago, and I still tool on my builds a few times a week. I've tried a few RTAs, but for me, nothing beats a dripper - swap flavors quickly, tweak/fix builds quickly, fanstastic flavor and/or vapor (depending on what you are going for, your build, and the RDA). Now I'm a TRUE dripper with my Reo Grand LP (reosmods.com) :)

That's not dripping. It's more like squirting. Lmao. I love my plume veil dripper, but I wanna get a dark horse or a mutation soon.

Got me there. It's already been named. Lol

In other news, this thread finally got me to order a dark horse. Lol

Actually that name has been around longer than I've been vaping (which isn't all that long). I often joke that I haven't gone REO because I refuse to vape anything I have to squonk first.

If you want a good laugh, look up squonk on the urban dictionary. Don't know who, when or where someone applied that particular word to the action of using a REO but it stuck and REO users are squonkers.

Without even lookin', I can imagine.

Congrats on the upgrade. I made a similar one a while back and thought it was the best ever. Till I found the next upgrade. Lol! Until you find the world of rebuildables, there's little hope that your upgrade will last. Whether it's dripping or squonking or sub-ohming or rebuilding a RBTA, chances are there's at least another upgrade in your immediate future. Lol!

Welcome to ECF and congrats on getting away from analogs!!

I agree but it comes from people saying this is much better than that, the mini will suffice until you get a ..............rebuildable ? it will be cheaper !

Thank you all for the great advice. Funny you guys should mention a dripper. Well, after seeing and reading the word many times I started into some research both here and youtube. Soooo, I've got a Yobh atty coming in the mail. Along with the organic cotton, needed wire, and tools. I know, your thinking I'm a quick sale...lol. Well, in this instance I'd have to agree with you..lol. The rebuild route does seem to be cheaper so that alone makes it appealing to me. Not to mention the possibility of getting even more flavor....MMmmm! I like the convenience of being able to switch flavors quickly because I have a crap load of DIY supplies on the way as well and using that to test flavors will be a great help.

Thanks you guys. :)

Imo tobh isn't the best flavor atty, but it's not bad! I would have suggested something with a single airflow option so you can get proficient with single coils before jumping to duals, but duals aren't terribly difficult.
Enjoy!

What is a single airflow? Perhaps that may be a easier way. I got the tobh off ebay. I had watched a video of a young guy who used a Nimbus clone and a MVP20w. Instead of making the dual coil. He only made a single 1.5ohm coil which supposedly stays withing the limitations of the MVP. Looked pretty simple to me but wondering about what you said too. What is a single airflow dripper? Ya got me interested.

Single airflow option gives you the option to have only one airflow open instead of having a single coil with both airflows open which will make an airy vape
