Here's a good video review of the egrip : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXeVfaDk2yU

Only reason I am really recommending this is because two weeks ago I was just wanting something extremely simple to use without any hassle. This would have been perfect for me I think...but I had already bought an istick by the time I discovered the egrip was on the market.

This looks almost ideal, but I'm concerned about not being able to remove the tank or if it were to break. Unfortunately the one shop I went to didn't have it and I've called the others and they don't either. I'd really like to get it in my hands to see just how durable I think it would be.

MrsMac, unfortunately I don't know how many Brick and Mortar shops will have these. They're relatively new...and I dunno how many vendors carry them. They seemed to be few and far between even online. Although if you think the form factor and everything might be ideal, I'd suggest asking some questions over on the forum thread I posted earlier. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-apv-discussion/613559-new-joyetech-20watt-egrip.html There are a dozen or so users of them over there. I've been watching their posts and most everyone seems to be posting overwhelmingly positive experiences.

I have not used one. So, I can't endorse it...but as I said earlier wish I would have seen these before spending my $ on an istick and new topper. I think this would have been my ultimate choice for simplicity ....but now my $ is committed elsewhere. I am just guessing it would be hard to break the tank. There's only a very small window of glass that is exposed, and would need a direct hit. The rest is protected by metal.

Actually......most every other recommendation you're going to get here are clearomizers with glass toppers. I think of all of them , this is even more indestructible. I guess you can get metal tubes to go around the Nautilus minis tho.

Another vote for the MVP 2.0 and the Nautilus tank or the Kanger Aerotank.

The MVP2 is an awesome step up from what you have.

I am going to throw in another vote for this set up... Very clean set up with all the safety features... has stealth qualities and the Aspire tank although has a learning curve to it is pretty reliable... I would say grab this baby if they have it in stock along with some coils and you would be pretty well set for a while.

Ok so after being on here the last 3 days and reading, reading and more reading I've decided it's time for a better setup. I currently just have a crappy starter kit with a 650 mAh battery and tank with wicks(excuse my lack of lingo ) I've read a lot and am still unsure of what exactly my preferred setup would be. To sum this up I'm looking for something with little maintenance. Right now this is my way to continue not smoking, I don't really know enough for it to be a hobby. I'm sure eventually it will be, but I'm not ready for that yet. I'm not interested in rebuilding things etc. Can anyone suggest something that's a step up from what I have, but not super pricey and is low maintenance? Or anything I specifically should be talking to the people at the shop about? I hate going into something I don't have enough experience with to converse about. Not to mention my one and only shop experience was horrible, but I'm hoping this new place will be much better. Thanks for any help!

I'd recommend a Vamo and a Nautilus Aspire tank. I've had a Vamo for a few years now and they last forever. You can get the Vamo for @ 30 bucks and it has variable voltage. The Nautilus tank costs @ 25 bucks...:vapor: This is the setup I'm using right now. Good dependable vape.

I appreciate all the recommendations. After youtube reviews and suggestions here I'm stuck between the eleaf istick with the Nautilus or the egrip. MVP is just too big for what I'm looking for and with the istick I can at least change out tanks and juices. They are both currently sitting in my cart lol

MrsMac, at the 5min mark on that youtube video, he talks about the glass tank. He shows a pretty good view of it too. Just my opinion but almost any glass clearomizer top would be a lot easier to break than that tank. I run kanger Protanks and so far haven't broke them, and they have really no protection.

All that said, I think the users on that other thread will be more helpful than myself. I just think the egrips look like much less maintenance and hassle than most everything else on the market. I am really surprised that they haven't gotten a lot more attention on ECF.

I agree the egrip is a great little design, but I've been going back and forth with juices and I can't do that with it. The Istick I can just tank the tank off and use another with a different juice.

Yeah....that was a downside for me as well. I definitely wouldn't want it as my sole setup. That said, I have been enjoying my istick a lot. For the $, I figured if I wasn't happy that at least I didn't break the bank. I have not tried the Nautilus tanks but they sure seem to be popular....so you probably couldn't go wrong with that combo.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

I would look at an MVP and an Aspire Nautilus tank, or something similar. Great battery life on the MVP, as well as VV/VW on the MVP2. Nautilus is a big tank with replaceable coils and gives me a nice, no-hassle vape.

totally agree. nothing is more hassle free than an MVP and a nautilus. make sure you get the BVCs though imo there a great deal better than the BDCs
