Health Cabin...flavorings

I rec'd my pkg from Health Cabin today. Didn't realize I ordered that many. lol. The cereal flavoring smells yummy! And the Chinese dates.
The Green Apple smells exactly like a real green apple...not candy apple...but a fresh peeled apple. Hope it taste as good as it smells.

Some of the others, based on smell alone...eh...not so much. lol.

Anyone have any HC flavoring reviews and experience that you can share with me??

I looked on their ECF supplier forum and didn't see much about their DIY flavoring.

Just their Camel (Or whatever slightly altered spelling they use now).

I got it for my friends who just had to have a taste of an actual cigarette, ugh. As I never smoked a filtered cigarette I have to go off their feedback. At 20% it tastes like a Camel Light and at 30% it tastes like a Vantage. I find it to be a weak, vaguely tobacco taste with ammonia tones and a slight ash taste which seems to match fairly well with how I found filtered cigarettes to taste.

So, that is probably completely useless to you, but I would be very interested to hear how the Green Apple works for you!

Yep, that's completely useless to me. LOL. I don't buy or vape tobacco flavorings.
oops...I take that back...I think I have one from TPA that I've never used, tobacco blend.

I have some playing to do with these flavors. Mostly beverage flavors. humm...wth was I thinking with a few of them, IDK. lol.

I use their Peach and like it better than other peaches. It tastes just like cling peaches in syrup. Plus their flavorings are really cheap.

shipping...eh...lil pricey. lol. got it fast though considering from overseas.

I didn't order their peach, because I had ordered peach from others the same time.

I picked these up, I haven't mixed any or done a whip-cream test yet.

Cotton Candy - Smells sweet, good, smells more then just Ethyl Maltol
Cappuccino
Green Tea - Smells really yummy and not artificial
Caramel Butter - Smells just like the Kernels popcorn flavour

caramel butter sounds good. also thought that would be one similar to others I have that I can mix to get the same taste.

no one else has any reviews of the HC flavors you have used?

I've tried most of the Caramels out there. This HC Caramel Butter does not smell like any I've tried! It's Absolutely Yummy smelling and the butter scent is distinctly pronounced, ..so now I'm concerned for diacetyl. Tho, the smell is so exact to a Kernels Popcorn flavour that I'm betting they are one and the same source. You would think diacetyl would be absent from a North American pop-corn company by now, But what do I know?

I will be mixing Friday night as I'm all out of empty small ml bottles and PG. I have 2 deliveries tomorrow of supplies so I'll post back

HC Green Apple:
Mixed this alone in 60pg/40vg (no nic) to test the flavor:
Nice real green apple taste, not a candy apple.
I do not detect any chemical taste.

@ 5% & 10% it is a mixer.
@15% mild apple stand alone flavor.
@20% spot on green apple stand alone flavor.

I myself do not think it needs sweetener. It has a gentle sweetness, which may come from the vg in my test.

JMO of course. YMMV. I'm happy with HC Green Apple.

Now to try it with caramel, or in a apple pie mix.

ETA: This is more of a flavor review than a recipe. I wanted to see how it tasted alone at different strengths.

Does it have an acidic taste/feel? I mixed up some HC Peach the other night and it has it. I'm wondering if that's the sharp note Hoosier mentioned that Vape Wizard will help. I added some Vanilla Custard...it's very yummy and it did help but it's still there although not as much.

I don't get a acidic feel/taste. YMMV.
To me it is a very nice realistic apple. Real green apples are tart & sweet. It does have that, but not overpowering IMO.

Let me say, first off, that I am a big HC fan, they are my favorite vendor and I highly recommend them to everyone who asks (and even some who do not ).

I bought a big order of HC DIY flavors. I think I have 25-35 bottles of their flavoring. I spent a week experimenting like a mad scientist and came up with nothing I really wanted to vape. If I recall correctly, there was a kind of strange sweetness to their flavors. Don't get me wrong, I love sweet, I use sweeteners in everything but that sweet taste was just a bit strange and I didn't like it. The box of their flavorings have been in my storage area for a a few months now.

To be fair, it was my first go at DIY. I am far better at it now, and I keep thinking I should revisit it but I have so many bottles of FA, TPA, FW, and Cap flavors that I know I like, so I haven't bothered. I will try the apple recipe though, now that its posted (thanks for that rkayw) and keep an eye on this thread if anyone comes up with more recipes.

I haven't tried it yet, Meems. It smells strong though (the HC flavoring).
I am not a big fan of fruity type real food cereals (ie; fruit loops).
Frosted Flakes...now that's a different story. lol.

humm....
Cereal, malt, vanilla maybe, something for the "corn" element in the frosted corn flakes....
of course I have not given this mix a spin yet....just tossing thoughts around.

I found it to be VERY strong, so start low! It was surprisingly "salty" to me..then I went on to another flavor from there so I didn't try further..

I started w marshmallow, graham, sweet crm..but that cereal was so strong I had to dilute so many times, then I still wasn't sure I liked the base of it.
