So.. I was a heavy chain smoker, keeping it Marlboro Red all the way, a pack a day and frequently more for six years. I changed to vaping about two months ago, and I am good. I'm completely off the analogues, and I don't even have an urge for cigarettes anymore. That said, I've been vaping 24mg nicotine e juices all the while. And I had been dripping it. I didn't know it was considered crazy until I saw a youtube video showing people dripping 24mg e juices and saying how crazy that is. So I am chain vaping 24mg with rdas. Is there any health issue that will come because of this 'craziness?' I've been very thirsty and i got a subtle dark circles under my eyes, but that's about it for the negative side effects of vaping that i'm experiencing.

wowza! you must have quite a tolerance there... ive dripped a 24mg a handfull of times, and had loads of negative effects. i became extreamly cold, anxiety ect.... if i were you, or a suggestion, id tapper down on the dose. high doeses of nicotine may still cause circulatory problems for some. they did for me. im at a 2mg now. took some time. do you feel cold at times, weak, any fatigue?

Hi hiya0412 and welcome to the forum!

As Lessifer said above, it depends a lot on the coil you're using - also on your nicotine tolerance. I started out on 18mg and found that I sometimes have to go to 24, sometimes 12, depending on what my body wants at the time. Just pay attention to what your body is telling you. For me, the first symptom of too much nic is either a slight upset in my stomach or nicotine hiccups.

Oh, and you may find that the level you need will drop over time. At least it seems to be that way for me. YMMV :)

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!

The issue with high power vaping is that you can easily consume too much nicotine. You'll probably get an upset stomach and notice your heart rate increase if that happens. Some people do vape at high power with more than 24 mg nic, but not many.

Now, how many watts are you vaping at? You can drip at 8 watts or over 100. If you're not sure, what hardware are you using and what is the setup in volts and resistance?

Here's a post with a lot of information you might find useful too: A list of symptoms when quitting tobacco and changing to an ecigarette.

This is sound advice. I used 24mg when first switching from American Spirit non-filters but it was in an old T3 type device that was incapable of hitting much more than 5 or 6 watts with stock coils and a fully charged battery. By the time my first 30ml of 24mg juice was gone I had stepped down to 18mg on the same rig.

I have a very high tolerance to nicotine too, hiya0412. I vape 12-18mg at around 9-11 watts depending on the juice, and that keeps me off the smokes, but I could vape 24mg with no problems if I wanted to. I'm lucky...I have a built in nicotine meter...I get the hiccups as my first sign I've had too much nic before I get any really unpleasant effects!

I use dripping attys now and every time I drop my nic below 18mg feel the need to vape more in order to reach my happy place. More vape = throat irritation for me, no matter the PG/VG ratio. Higher nic helps me vape less, avoids the irritation and makes me happy because I got my nic.

If you are thirsty make sure you get a good deal of water into you. Water is your friend when it comes to ex......g bodily wastes.

I've noticed my blood pressure jumps up pretty high on 24mg.

Mine too, but it goes back to normal after an hour or so of not vaping. If I'm going to the doctor or somewhere where my bp will be checked, I just don't vape for awhile before. I'm not sure about the effects of fluctuating bp, I read one article that said it may be like a vascular workout, but I haven't seen any actual studies.

The most important is not strength of juice but cumulative dosage. If you vape 3 ml of juice daily (3*24=72 mg of nicotine) you are rather safe. If you vape 30 ml (720 mg of nic)... Who knows... But I would avoid it by all means.

Everyone is a little different. I dripped 24mg for a long time without any negative effects

Yep, everyone is different. You know, I have smoked for very, very long time without any negative effects. Would I recommend smoking? Nope. Not sure about dripping 24 mg at any coil. But of course anyone who wants to be a guinea pig for benefit of science is welcome.
