Can 24mg e-juice be diluted ?

Hi everyone,

If been lurking for a few months and am new to e-cigs. Tons of fantastic info here at ECF!!
I started using e-cigs about 2 months ago. I started off with the Blu brand and have since moved up to the eGo-W system which I'm very pleased with.

The question I have is, I purchased 5 bottles of e-juice from two different vendors, Viper Vape and RAWR. I got the e-juice in 24mg nicotine strength and its pretty strong. I have to be careful how much I vape or I get the you've had to much nicotine feeling...so I guess 24mg is to strong for me.

Can I dilute the e-juice to help lower the nictonie levels so I can vape a little more frequently?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Yes it can be diluted. You can use straight PG or VG and lower the nic. This will also lower the flavor of the juice. Idealy, you would want to cut the 24 mg/ml juice with the same juice with 0mg/ml nic to maintain flavor.

Yes you can.
Just add some PG or VG to the e-juice.
Keep in mind if you do that, the flavor will be less strong also.

Just echoing what the previous posters have said:

1. Cut with VG or PG (or VG/PG). This will lower the flavor and possibly change the PG/VG ratio (depending on exactly how you do it).
2. Order a lower nic or 0 nic strength of the same flavor and cut with that. This will keep everything but the nic the same.

Perfect - Makes sense. I think I'll go with the zero nic of the same flavor to dilute with to maintain the flavor.

I do that too. Kinda like Goldilocks. This one is too strong, this one is too weak, mix and Ahhhhh This one is just right.

One last question. I read somewhere and cant remember where that I should be able to purchase some VG or PG at my local drug store such as Walgreens or CVS.
Is this true?
I want to be safe and do it right.

I get VG from Walmart and PG from Tractor Supply.
