Hello. I bought a re-buildable atomizer from Robert at Reosmods a while ago but it took me a while "unveil it". Once I did, I really enjoyed the experience because it was like a vapor machine! Unfortunately, I bought it before he started selling the current, more durable version he sells now. He's nice enough to send me the new one to replace the broken one.

My question(s) are:

I've always removed the wicks on my regular atomizers because I felt the wicks were just adding an element I didn't like.
I realize the rebuild-able atomizers depend on the wick to dispense the juice so I need to have it in there. the vaper experience was wonderful for the short time I had it so I'm going to forego my usually preference of no wick.

I've read a bit that cotton is a viable alternative to the regular wick. Some have even used cotton balls?! I've also read that ceramic wicks maybe an option too?

1st-What choices do I have as far as wick and what are the safest and which are best choices to let the flavors "vape" through?

2nd-Wire... I'm not sure what gage wire I bought previously so I'm wondering what to get and why.

2nd questions: I'm wondering what setups people are using for coli and/or wicks and why. I like to vape on a variable voltage which runs across the whole range depending on juice. Usually no more than 5.3 watts and most often around 4.7 watts.

3rd: Best place to buy based on price and quality.

4th: Even though this atomizer id basically bought and pain for (around $40.00) did anybody try the new one but prefer a different one? I'm hoping not to buy a different one but vaping is a MAJOR part of my existence and we only live once :)

Thank you!!!!!!!!

I've used Silica, Cotton Yarn, Cheesecloth & even tried SS Mesh. I have found for me the Cheesecloth gave the best flavor but it MUST be kept wet & requires a break in period. Silica works ok & couldn't really get the mesh to work but didn't use a solid wick so it may be great. Also used a piece of silica rolled up in ss mesh.
Never used hemp.
The RM2 is a great RBA but my son got a ERA before Rob got a RBA in stock so I can't give a report on it.
I like the RM2 because it doesn't require a special wrench or other tool. Just a small philips head screwdriver.

Hope this isn't too confusing & maybe even helpful.
I have a Mini & Grand & am considering a VV Grand.

Later,
louis
