One of the stores where I live will not sell anything but 80/20 or 50/50

Their reasoning is that if you get more VG in the liquid that the humidity will cause your lungs to have issues like bronchitis and pneumonia due to water build up (especially as often and I use mine).

I never heard this before, nor have I read anything like this online.

I know VG causes more vapor, but I'm starting to get an upset stomach more often (during a week of use) and I'm worried it is because I use the 80/20. I want to go to 50/50, 40/60, 20/80 but I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

Wow. If they are that grossly misinformed I wonder what else they don't know what they are talking about.

Both PG and VG are hygroscopic - they draw moisture out of you - they don't put it in. You cannot get a lung full of water from vaping. If you could we all would be dead already.

Well that could be anything - including a bad vaping technique where you are swallowing vape instead of inhaling it.

Well, if that's all they sell, I would look at getting juice online. I prefer 70pg. My lungs feel heavy if I vape too high vg, but many prefer high/all vg. You just have to try various levels and see what works best for you, and for your tank/setup. Maybe DIY would be something you'd like and that way you can easily experiment with various levels without buying a ton of juice.

Are you new to vaping, or just new to ECF? Were you a smoker? Honestly, if you're concerned about what's in your lungs, and you are NOT trying to quit smoking, I wouldn't vape period.

I would find a vendor that sells what you want. Funny how vaping causes pneumonia, yet you get a chest cold the first thing the doc tell you is to get a humidifier or meds via a nebulizer (cold air vape). So a whole room vaporizer is OK, and inhaling Cold water is ok, but steam is bad. I don't get it.

My guess is that the stomach issues have more to do with the chemicals flavoring your juice, than PG vs VG.

Personally I prefer higher PG juice, mainly because I don't like FLAVOR of high VG juice. I wish the Juice makers would go back to making Juice for flavor. Rather than juice that makes big clouds and has flavor. I started Vaping to quit smoking, I have no need or desire to produce more vapor per hit than I did smoke per hit. Matching the vapor production to a cigarettes smoke is easy, can be done with a EGO bat and a CE4. But that set-up doesn't give good flavor. So we have to go to a better atty and power source. Now this first upgrade, is dangerous, because it can lead to, Grass is Greener syndrome. Unless of course you never did smoke and vape for the purpose of creating big clouds and looking cool.

I went to their 50/50 formula with a flavor hit and my stomach issues have calmed down. Could just be I was inhaling too much of the vapor before since until a week ago I never did anything like this. I has definitely helped my stress levels though.

Definitely like the taste of the 50/50 better though :).
