here but this is just a comparison thread between the differantces i have found between 2 differant e juice vendors with 2 completely differant blends of juice.
first off i love halo tribeca !!! its been my all day vape for a long time and it works great in tanks because of how thin it is, however... in a 1ohm cooton micro coil RDA forgetaboutit !!! i can down a 30ml bottle in 4 days !!! the thin pg soaks into the cotton very easy and burns out a lot quicker leading to dripping more often, the flavor is great and i love it but i was burning through 30mls of halo every 4-5 days !!!
i decided to make the swap to a thicker all vg and organic as possable e juice, but what to get ? it had to be as good as halo flavor wize and yet be all organic VG....
i did a bunch of research and the vendor i kept coming up with was HHV...
ok for the experiment i did this...
i used the same RDA on a modified magneto for and entire 2 weeks with the same coil, and just swapping cotton at the end of each day
i built a 1ohm cotton micro coil with a cotton wick dripped halo on it (PG) and vaped about 25 puffs refilling as nessasary, then after the 25 or so pufffs i swapped over to HHV heavanly tobacco dripped and vaped 25puffs also refilling as nessasary.... what i found was that the halo would soak right into the wick quickly, but it would also vape quickly and i was using about twice as much halo as i was HHV to get the same 25 puffs ! i also realy like the smooth and ritch flavor that a organic VG has to offer VS the sharp strong flavor of a PG based juice like halo. now dont get me wrong here halo is a great juice and its been my all day vape for a long time, but as time went on wth this experiment, i found myself looking foward to the smoothness and rich butterscotchy flavor of HHV !!! i couldnt wait to be done with the 25 or so pufs of halo and start useing the HHV heavanly tobacco !!!
so what did i gain from this lil experiment ?
1 pg based e juice goes realy fast in a dripper, especialy a cotton micro coil. PG flavors are sharper and more pronounced but lack in vapor compared to all VG, and have a short after taste that cleanses quickly with any beverage, TH is strong and meaning full, flavor breaks though fast and sharp, vapor well its good if you have a good quality e juice but nothing like 100% VG
2 100% VG e juice takes some time to absorb into the wick, it sits on top for a wile before it soaks in, but once soaked it seems to hold more vg than it would if it was full of PG probably because of its thicker viscosity... this leads to longer vape times with the same amount of drops vs pg when dripping ! also VG juice has a smoother and richer flavor, sort of like its more full..... IDK realy how to explain it but even though its not as strong of a flavor it seems more satifiying. it has a softer TH than PG and a differant type of flavor (not weaker but smoother) vapor is off the charts.
3 i took the same amount of puffs with bolth liquids.... 30ml halo and 30ml HHV and as of now i have almost no halo left and still a half bottle of HHV !!! so it would seem that in a dripper vg base juice last mutch longer and gives a smoother flavor but if you have a standard clearo tank i suggest using mostly pg where it will absorb rapidly into the wick and flow to the coil more reliably,100% vg in a standard protank or clearo would not be the best idea and may take some wick mods or tank mods to get it to flow correctly and even when it does it will gunk up your coils faster than pg will.
4 100% VG makes some srs clouds !
so i have decieded to switch over to all organic VG based e juice and only realy use PG bases if i want to use a tank or clearo. i am realy liking the organic VG stuff from HHV !!!
