I still think they have some of the best juice ever, but I had to break up with Heather earlier this year. It just became too hit and miss on quality. Sometimes the best ever, and sometimes just meh. Shipping can be slow, but it should get there.

Has anyone found anything similar to how HHV makes their fruit juices? Really tough to find anything similar in that vein.

Heather's liquids are absolutely unique. I enjoy them but don't use them regularly as they can become cloying. I've still got partial bottles of Dragon's Fire, Pirate's Booty, and Sludge around. Sludge isn't my thing but the others really hit the spot at times. Haven't had Heavenly tobacco in ages. I found Dark Horse and it's close relatives to be bland.

Have you ever asked them to use extra flavoring? I looked at the HHV site, and it didn't appear they have an option to allow for customization requests.

I have not done it yet, but i started a thread about it in the HHV sub-forum here last week. They do do extra flavor shots, just say something in the comment box at checkout.

I am so happy to hear that. That's the reason I haven't ordered from them before. Thank you.

From my experience, HHV absolutely does not need the extra flavor shot. I was going to get a extra flavor shot in order to mix with and try to save a large lesser quality bottle of juice.

I don't DIY, but have read quite a bit about it, and too much flavoring can overwhelm you senses and mute instead of amplify the flavor. It can also lead to off, or perfumey taste.

HHV at 50/50 were the most flavorful juices i have tried (except for Pluid). I know a lot of people add flavor shots to lesser vendors, but i would put HHV in that category. It's your preference and money, but thought i would give you my two cents.

+1. Heather's isn't Mt Baker. Her tobacco flavors are very bold on average. Keep in mind her formulations are from way back when we were all using cartos and early clearos. I only found a couple to be light on flavor but they were not sweetened tobaccos and extra tobacco Can get yucky real quick. I don't know why anyone would ask for extra flavors if they hadn't tried the makers standard recipe first.

Thanks for your input. As a relatively new vaper, I appreciate all of the advice on vaping I can get!! I always order a minimum of 50% p.g. to up the flavor quotient. I think my taste buds are malfunctioning because I have a hard time finding juices that are flavorful enough for me without extra or double extra flavor, and that includes some premium brands. I may do a test run and order two HHV juices only -- two bottles of the same juice, but one with double extra flavor and one without extra flavor. Then I can see if her juices and their flavor quotient works for me. I may also send her an email asking her to advise me about which juices are the most boldly flavored.

Who makes Pluid?

Thanks again!

Not sure how long "relatively" is, but it can take several months for your taste buds to recover from smoking. So you are probably right about the "malfunctioning".

Pluid is an anise/licorice flavor by Mad Murdock. If you like that flavor profile (seems to be an all or nothing flavor), it definitely packs the flavor. They even sell bottles of "cutter" along side it to dilute it. I put it in a tank once uncut, and it was way too strong. Even after a boil and vodka bath, i needed to change all the o-rings before i could get the taste out of the tank.
