Got a response from heatvape confirming my suspicion that locking doesn't work on the earlier production runs -- at least on the 50w. So there are at least two different versions floating around in the wild.

That explains why my 50W locks and yours doesn't. I've been wondering about that ever since you posted earlier.

vaporbeast’s newest deal of the day is another nice one. They have the Heatvape Defender 50W Box Mod in stock and on sale for $22.17. But, use the coupon codeYEAHBABY” at checkout and the price drops to just $19.95. And, they have four different colorways to choose from: black, blue, red & silver. Seriously, less than $20 for a 50 watt box mod that can fire atomizers as low as 0.3 ohm.

BTW - Here is Another thing I like about the Display.

When you Push and Hold either the Up or the Down Button, it cycles for 1 watt at .1 watt at a time. Then it goes to cycling 1 watt at a time and the Decimal stays the same.

It's just a Little thing. But it is Kinda Cool instead of the Display going into a Blur like a Spinning Slot Machine.
