I have 2 900mAh eGos that I travel around with, and I can get just about a full day on one and charge that while using the back up. There's no way that I know of to check the battery level, but I do know that if the charger is blinking between red and green it means that the battery is almost done charging. It will be solid red when it's still in the thick of charging.

Maybe someone else knows how to check the batter level. I got an eVic because one of the features is a battery life indicator.

Well I will be anxious to see what I get today

Heavy vaping on my 650's gets me about 4.5 hours (normal 6.5hrs), and the 900's get me about 7-7.5 hrs heavy (normal 9). Depends on your wattage too.

***As far as checking battery charge when vaping - in the regulated mode the button led goes from white to light blue to medium blue to dark blue at the end. Once it gets to dark blue I put it on the charger. Really like that feature - always go out on white ;)

edit:
***only on regular eGo-c and eGo-t upgrade batts not the Twist...

Again today I got 6hrs with heavy vapin on the first now on the second. I did play with the voltage a bit. But mainly left it on 3.2
Also there is no warning the light stays white the whole time. Then when the battery does it blinks a few times and goes out I just got it yesterday. The guy told me let it charge for 8 hrs before u use it, I'm thinking BS and I have for the record. The joyetech ego-c twist
900 mah. I was thinking at least 7.

I read with the l-ion batt to fully charge and let fully discharge three times so I am on my second discharge. We will see what happens when Of I need to return.

Sorry. That change is for the eGo-c and the eGo-t upgrade.... Wish it was on the Twist :) So there's no way of telling, although if you're at a constant voltage - you'll begin to figure it out...

And the '8 hour charge' thing is a holdover from nicad batts - not applicable to lithium ion batts but sometimes the 'manuals' still say that.

Hey thanks for the replies. Someone posted and I verified on the website with the on line manual. The batts when the get 50% light blue 10% dark blue. This batt blinks then out. I think I have two defective batts. Will go back to the store with ipad in hand....
Exchange

soba1 - those are only on the regular eGo-c's not the Twists.... And the regular eGo-c's are not variable voltage... so you may want to just keep the Twist.... again, sorry for the mistake.

Ok bought a 900 mah charged it fully then got about 5 hrs of heavy vaping,
vaped til the battery died. Let it charge over night for about 8 hrs.
going to see how it performs today.

Im thinking I should get at least 8hrs.
Lastly is there a way to check the battery level?

Thanks

You could try one of those multi-meters to check remaining voltage.

I use the meter on my eGo batteries.

Ok thanks for the clarification.
Five, six hrs, man I feel as though I wasted my money......
I do have a total of five 650 mahs, not variable voltage but I wanted something bigger as to not have to carry sooooo many batteries.
Well at least I will have more back ups for my back ups. :D

I like the fact that u can adjust the voltage, for better flavor. Once that batt settles I can get an idea.
I got 6hrs with darn near constant vaping. So it may turn out better than expected.....
Thanks

I like the lighter favors so I think I can get away with 3.2
It may help with the pro-tank to turn up the voltage just to get it warmed up

That is my choice as well. Actually the eGo-c upgrade batteries run at 3.3-3.4 volts. And you can run them at 3.7 Volts on the 'variable mode' (not a true variable like the Twist) but I stay in the constant mode and that way you do get the white to light blue to dark blue charge indicators.

With a 1.8 ohm coil - I use the T3's but am looking forward to the mini protank - they're the same diameter as the eGo. I have 650's, 900's and one 1000mAh in the upgrade batts and prefer the 650's for going out. I take two 650's and never run out of batt - I also have a 650 joye eGo-c upgrade pt in the SUV. I do vape the 900's at home but the 1000 batt is in 'storage' :)

The lighter flavors work well with the 2.2 ohm coils and for my lightest flavors the 2.6ohm coil is too light.

Just want to say, I have recycled my battery twice. Letting it drain all the way down and charged all the way back up.
I will do it once more on both batteries.
But I have to say, one of my ego-c twists. I started using it at 7am vaping when I could. I am happy to say that's thing is still going strong.
So for the record a suggestion. When u first purchase a new batt. Charge fully and drain three times. That way it helps condition the battery.
I'm amazed wow.

Glad it's working well. Just fyi, the fully charge and drain really doesn't apply to lithium ion batts. In fact for a longer life it's better to recharge before a full drain... see:
