Hi guys. I just recently got my hellfire mini. It is a beautifully machined piece of work. Took me over an hour to get the wick and coil set up right though.

Problem is, i can't screw it onto my sturm mod (another beautifully machined piece). It screwed in 2 turns and then gets stuck. I can use it if i put a ego-510 connector in between though. It works, but it's not as aesthetically pleasing as i would like.

Any ideas?

I am going through a similar issue with a Short DID and P+18350 (want to trade?).

I sent the P+ top cap back to Super-T to take a look at it. They reported that their threads where fine; but to check they pressed the center post out, ran a tap through, and re-assembled the cap.

I received the top cab back and still had binding issues. Where as before I could only get a 3/4 to 1/2 a turn now I was getting ~2 full turns and then interference.

The reason your Hellfire mini and my Short DID fit on eGo threads is due to the fact eGo threading is not tightly toleranced; basically they are loose threads.

I then contacted MMV regarding their DID atomizer threads. The sent me a new bottom connector out right away; I received it today actually, but I'm having the same issue. The threads are binding.

In my case of DID/P+ I believe the issue to be the minor diameter on the DID is over max, basically the DID's threads are not cut deep enough. For your Hellfire/Strum, well, youre gonna have to do a bit more looking into it but it may be the minor diameter on the atomizer especially if the threading seem shallow.

Next I plan to pass a die over the DID's threads. I have not tried this yet but I believe 510 thread is 7mm x .5, according to this:
