Hello a noob here.

Hello, I recently bought a cheap e-cig from a head shop to try it out and loved it. I am however looking to upgrade to a better pv. I am looking for advice to this aim. I have heard that the m402 is a good choice, but I am also considering the M201 pen. I realize it is of much large size, but that does not concern me to much. Is it a good personal vaporizer? Are there other models I should be aware of? Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,
The looniest of gunsmiths

E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings is having a great sale of their eGo kits. I have several kits and love them. Bigger battery for longer vape time. Their kits have 2 complete ecigs in them. Happy holidays.

Actually, I believe they'd sold out of their sale prices on the eGo - but even better deal right now, they have the Riva 510s back in stock - all colors! $29.99 kits and 2.99 shipping! I've already gotten my orders in (2 black, 2 titanium) - so feel free to buy the rest up now... I'm set ;)

To get that pricing, don't forget to start by clicking the 20% off link in the upper left of their page - or if you forget, use discount code ECF.

Oh yeah, and welcome to ECF! There are loads of info and ideas out there, just waiting for you!

... on a side note, not sure about loony and gunsmith going hand in hand... *begins to twitch*

Congrats on getting started, and good luck with the near future-
You will find a huge variety of choices ranging from small, cigarette like to unwieldy looking things that look more like the PACK than a cigarette! And many that look even more different.

Finding a PV that really works well is a fairly individual thing- some seem fine with Mini styles, others go through a lot of different things until they find or make something that works.

My suggestion is always to start fairly cheaply and only buy LOTS of stuff when you know you are satisfied.

I have not owned one, but a 510 compatible unit is likely a good choice: there are more mods and adapters for those parts than perhaps any other, so atomizers and cartridges you buy can still be used even if you find the batteries are not enough for you (length of vaping time OR voltage.)

There are small battery kits and BIG battery kits, and I am sure there will be links to both in here soon. ;)

I think eGo and Riva are both 510 kits... again, I have not had either.
But I am now using some 510 atomizers on a mod. :)
