I have been a pack-pack and a half a day smoker for 17 years now. Marlboro lights almost the whole time.

I hate cigs (I think its funny they are called analogs here.) they make me cough, stinky and broke. Not to mention I am a stage 4 Melanoma survivor and smoking cigs make me feel as stupid as the people smoking through a hole in their throat. But still I can't seem to go a few hours without either smoking an analog or wanting to murder someone.

I'm not totally new to vaping, I have used an ego ce4 but they seem only marginally better than the blu's, which are horrible IMO. I have bought at least 3 blu starter packs and after about a month the charger quits working or something happens with it. Their flavors are pretty blah too, so I finally decided to get a good setup.

After spending all night reading everything I could on this site I decided to order an Innokin itaste 2.0. and some mini nautilus to go with it. I ordered some 24ml and 18ml juice to try out and see if I need something with stronger nicotine in it. It seems like a steep learning curve learning about the VW, VV and some of the other features of the better mods. I don't really want to but extra tanks or build other setups I just want something that works that I can stick with.

Thanks all for the information on here, hopefully soon I will never ever buy another pack of analogs again.

Welcome! And just remember to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and use the lower mg at night so it doesn't keep you up. And I agree with you on the Blu. I tried them over 2 yrs ago and for about a week.

Don't worry about BOTH VV and VW, just tackle one of the features. I first learned on VV and its pretty simple to do the +2 method. If your ohms are 1.8, +2 on a VV would be about 3.8 volts. Then you can test it out from there to see if you like that range. If it seems to hot, lower the VV down a bit or too cool, go up a tad to like 3.9 or 4.0.

Hi Oddball. I'm new to ECG myself, even though I've been researching their info for a month now.

I started with a crappy Blu ecig myself and those things were God awful. I moved to the eGo-T kit with a Kanger T3'D and 18mg of Vanilla Malt as my go to flavor a year after the Blu crap hit the garbage can. I've recently gotten a Vamo V5 with a Innokin IClear 30S, and I love it. It was a hard choice between the Vamo and an MVP, and I'm thinking I'll be getting an MVP 2.0 by next summer.

I was a pack and a half a day smoker until last March when I got the eGo kit and by the middle of April I couldn't smoke another cigarette at all. I've been vaping exclusively since then. I didn't think it would happen, but it did. Good luck to you in your transition!

So I just got it in the mail today, shipping was pretty fast from CA.

I did'nt realize the nautilus mini didnt have the wicks, it is much better to vape with I think. The MVP2 is pretty nice and I like the VV alot. So So So much better than something like the blus.

I'm actually excited to quit smoking and staart vaping, I'll have to get some more flavors since vaping out of this thing is so much tastier. :)

Thanks again ECF!

Welcome Oddball7 !! I am fairly new here myself and don't know a lot about all of the Vaping Hardware out there but I do have the Itaste mvp and I'm using a Kanger Pro Tank 3 with it. Most of what you will find out about your MVP is that no one can tell you what the perfect setting is for you and you will have to figure that out for yourself and that's what makes the MVP so great. If I'm Vaping a tobacco flavor then I can set my MVP at a higher setting but if Im Vaping a sweet flavor then I have to set it lower or I will get a burnt taste. I Love my MVP and I'm sure that you will too. Also I was a pack and a half smoker for 30 yrs. Goodluck to you and Happy Vaping :)
