Hey all, I'm new to the forum and also new to e-cigs! (Haven't had one yet!). Im wanting to know whats good to start with? I see all kinds of terminology and all kinds of diff setups, Im looking for something simple a kit maybe that has all i'll need. I had placed an order with blucigs cause it was the first i came across that had an easy setup that came with a starter kit, however they are extremly back-ordered and I dont want to wait 6 weeks for starter kit to arrive... Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You! Awesome site by the way!

Call me dumb, but i'm a big confused.
I'm looking at this.
ecigexpress.com/electronic-cigarette-starter-kit-c-2/joye-510-electronic-cigarette-p-2

Is this all i need to start? Or do i need "Juice"/"Liquid" also?

It says there is 5 cartridges in high strength included, when these run out do i refill them with this Juice?

Sorry there is just so many choices makes it confusing for a first timer.

I have both the 510 and the KR808D-1. If you are looking for simplicity I would recommend the KR808, also it has longer battery life between charges. I like the fact that I can fill 4 cartos in the morning and I am pretty much done "fussing" for the day (not including the occasional top off). I like the 510 on my passthru, but as far as for when I am out and about, I opt for the KR808. I am buying a kit for my mother, as I figure the less hassle the better. Liberty Flights has the kit

  • 2 x 280 mAh Rechargable Auto Batteries
  • 6 x combined atomizer & cartridges
  • 1 x USB Battery Charger With Mains Adapter
  • 1 x Manual
Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Mini (KR808D-1 Cartomizer)

for 33.99 after you use the promo code ECR69 AND free shipping. I think this is a great way to start at a reasonable price.

And... Yes, you will need more juice... there are a kajillion suppliers listed here and everyone has different tastes. I would start with a company that has smaller (3-10ml) bottles and try to get a taste for what you prefer, then go from there. The "norm" around here is anywhere from 2-5 ml per day, so dont let yourself get caught short as turnaround time from ordering to delivery can be anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks depending on the supplier and their location relative to you.

The cartomizers that come with the package are pre-filled. There are a LOT of suppliers that sell other flavors of cartomizers
Vapor King Cartomizers

LeCig Electronic Cigarette Store - 16mg Cartomizers 808D-1

These are just 2 that I can find on the fly.

I really havent found any prefilled that I am CRAZY about, but everyone has different tastes. I normally will buy blank cartomizers and fill them with juice that I have purchased seperately (in the long run this is MUCH cheaper also). This takes me less than 5 minutes a day to fill 5-7.

Yes, I reuse my cartomizers. I can use them for about 3 to 4 days before they start getting funky. I blow them out, rinse them through with hot water and dry them in a bag with rice. There are tons of methods people use to clean them out. Make sure they are completely dry before you refill and you should be good to go :)http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/kr808d-1/49961-how-do-you-rinse-carts.html

The reason I suggested starting with the Liberty Flights kit is that it is much cheaper than the V4L kits. Not too much lost if you find out that the KR line is not what you are looking for. I liked it so much that I recently purchased 2 of the V4L extra long batteries to extend my battery life on the go. I also purchased 2 of the flavored premium cartomizer flavors. I will stick to filling with my own juice. :)
