I'm 37 and have been smoking tobacco cigarettes for 22 years now. Up until last Friday, I wanted a cigarette in the morning, one after meals... basically every 30 minutes I was awake, I needed a cigarette. Marlboro light menthols was my poison of choice. I had been looking into e-cigs, and last Friday I purchased the No. 7 MIcro Starter Kit from a local tobacco shop. I've smoked 4 tobacco cigarettes since then, and didn't even particularly enjoy them.
It was a little awkward the first day - figuring out an efficient/quick/proper way to refill while on the go, figuring out how much to drip, perfecting my drag, etc. It's now Monday night and most of the time I'm now able to get a nice drag with a good throat hit, refilling is a cinch, and I am absolutely loving the sweet, smooth menthol flavor with no nasty smoke taste. My smoker friends seem to think I'm compromising or cheating myself, but I'm actually beginning to enjoy vaping more than smoking.
I'm not disappointed by No. 7's kit by any means; it really was worth the money. But I did purchase it a little hastily because I was eager to quit smoking and No. 7 brand is the only one available in town. After doing quite a bit of online research, however, I fell in love with the Totally Wicked ScrewDriver. I told my dad about my awesome, unexpected success with No. 7 and mentioned that I was planning on purchasing the ScrewDriver in the near future, and my dad, awesome guy that he is, ordered the ScrewDriver for me as an early birthday present and it should be arriving here by this Friday. I'm so freakin' pumped! I'm also thinking about buying a Blu kit (the black version) for those after-dinner, public restaurant smokes and the like as I have a feeling sucking on the end of what appears to be a screwdriver may not be socially acceptable hehe.
Anyway, that's my story. I freakin' love e-cigs and feel incredibly liberated from tobacco cigs now. This is like the beginning of a new chapter in my life. And a longer, more enjoyable life than it would have been otherwise. =)
