I have been trolling this forum for about 6 weeks now, since I started vaping. Decided to finally post up, mainly so I can pm and try to pick up a mod in the classifieds.:p I got the 1100mah T-Rex from liberty flights which has been doing me good so far. But being in the field 3 of the 6 weeks preparing for deployment seemed to drain the batteries quicker than normal. Which is why I am looking for a mod to go with my current PV. I like to drip and really like 555, RY4 and most coffee flavors.

One of the best models on the market is the variable volt Darwin. I am a very heavy vaper and on regular resistence atomizers or cartomizers, I get 21+ hours on a charge. It also doubles as a pass-through so you can vape as you charge it. It's 5 and a half inches long and a half an inch in depth so it fits well in a pocket or pouch. The folding arm is built very tough. I've dropped mine many times on concrete with no issues. It might work for you. Like any of the top models, however, it is more expensive about $235.

Because it has "regulated boost circuit" technology, it is the most consistent PV on the market. For throat hit, consistency, flexibility and battery life, it is outstanding:

Thanks for the ideas guys. I'm trying to get something under 100. Pretty sure my wife would kill me if I told her I was gonna spend 235 on a new PV. Maybe after a couple months overseas I could splurge a little.

You might want to look at the 5 volt GLV 2 or 3. Built like a tank and comes with a lifetime warranty. About the best fixed volt on the market. But you still will only get 6 maybe 7 hours on a charge. The "3" is just a "2" with an eliquid feeder:
