Introducing myself too!

Tried a generic small battery 510 model a year or so ago and was not a happy camper. Researched properly this time, using this forum extensively. Been exclusively using a Vamo since Feb 1st with no desire for an analog. Result!

Now seeing this as a hobby so may not save as much as anticipated. :toast:

hi there fellow newb!

I have ordered samples from Rocky Mountain, Johnson Creek, Heathers Heavenly Vapors and Halo. Limited selections so far. Having trouble finding a really satisfying tobacco flavor as yet. Most of them leave me cold, are too strong or too pipe/cigar/tea tasting for my screwed up taste buds. Will try them again in a few weeks. Halo's Tribeca is the narrow winner there, but plenty more to try. Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured is growing on me though.

Absolutely loved Halo's Malibu Menthol. Chugged 7ml in a day and a half. Also a fan of HHV Crackberry and Rocky Mountain Strawberry. So fruity seems to be good so far. Surprisingly liking Menthol, usually with something else.

Not a fan of coffee flavors so far

Hi jr & Sarl - welcome! I'm a noob too and am enjoying the heck out of the whole experience so far after about 2 weeks.

How are you liking the Vamo? I'm considering picking one up in about a week or so. Would you buy it again or would you have gone a different direction?

Actually liking the Vamo a lot. Just setting the watts to 7-8 and not worrying about the volts/ohms etc makes it simpler for me right now. It is certainly a conversation starter! With a tank it is a little large for nights out, or for work, and using the 18350 battery does not last long enough, so I am looking at something smaller for that. Looking at the XTAR WP6 and more batteries.

But for a big mod, I have no complaints so far, more problematic is the carto tank situation, since I keep burning or flooding the cartos. I think that is due to the choice of cartos (2 hole instead of 1) and my careless refilling technique!

Very cool to hear! About how long is the 18350 lasting you? I was considering going the EXACT same route.

Hmm I have 2 bottles of Johnson Creek that have been sitting in the back of my juice box for like a year. I didn't like it when I tried it. I wonder if I should give it a try, considering I did not let it steep when I first tried it. Maybe it gets better with age, like fine wine.

Try it! Most juices flavors get more robust after steeping. If, not they transform into something awesome. I wish I could try a juice that has steeped for a year but sadly none have made it that far haha
