I am semi new to the vaping world. Started with cig a likes this past summer to quit. But they just wer not doing it. So I switched to and ego twist knock off recommended to me by my local b&m store. I did not know it was a knock off and after browsing this forum and looking online I way over paid. But it got the job done and have been cig free for two weeks now. Last week I ordered a genuine ego twist and a kanger pro tank 2 and I am very impressed. Great flavor, great vape, and great experience all around. My only gripe is the ego outer threading showing. Is there anything I can get to make it more aesthetically appeasing? Other than that again hello and I am glad to have found this community.

They have "beauty" rings that screw on to the ego threads and make it a smooth transition. Nice job on the 2 weeks. Keep it up

No my protank did not come with a beauty ring. I purchased it from myvape store. I guesss I will use my kanger 510 cartomizer until I purchase one. I do not want to risk damaging my new set up as I am rather clumsy.
Great job making the 2 week mark, almost all the vape shops carry the beauty rings so you should be able to get one fairly easy and with minimum expense. Enjoy your new home
If you like the protank you may want to just pick up another one, check the description first and make sure it is included. You can then leave it on the battery and change tanks to vape a different flavor.

I would prefer to just buy a beauty ring than picking up a new one. I'm on a budget and used up my vaping fund for the month. Perhaps next month I will just buy a new tank though.

Can anyone recomended a good atomizer for my eGo? I want to buy one for trying new juices. Instead of filling a carto full of liquid I do not like it would be nice to sample a drip or two beforehand.

I can not find a kanger beauty ring. Everyone is out of stock. Does anyone have an extra they could spare? Otherwise I am just going to buy a new one that comes with a beauty ring.

Welcome to the forum. I tried a small washer which i put some grooves into with a hack saw and that solved the gapping on my Vamo to protank connection. A 2mm thick washer which you can find lying about in the shed or garage. Put it into a vice and hack saw some grooves into it top and bottom to aid airflow. Hey presto gap gone and a nice airy vape
I have a non-kanger ring and it works fine, you don't actually need it to be a kanger ring. I have 2 of the Kangers, and 2 of these Vivi Nova eGo/510 adapter skirt. Make sure if you order one, you get the wide one, it's the one made for the larger tanks like the Protank. The slim one is only for small 1ml or so tanks.
Be cautious on purchasing another Protank just to get the beauty ring, Kanger does NOT include it with the Protank II. It comes with the Protank I and the Unitank, but I recommend staying away from both of those tanks. The PTI is not as nice as the II, and the Unitank really just sucks, all my juices taste flavorless in it.
